The Tigers just made a big trade today, sending Jair Jurjjens and Gorkys Hernandez to Atlanta for Edgar Renteria. I'm happy with the move.

I heard he might move the team though and I really don't want that to happen. Also, this is the 100 year anniversary of the Cubs not winning a World Series. So they have to win this year. |

Not a chance in Hades that would happen. I haven't heard that rumor at all, but I can promise you there is no way the Cubs will ever move out of Chi-Town. |

Wow... this is HUGE!Look for the Tigers to be scoring some major runs in 2008. Bummer to lose Maybin, but we picked up a potential HOF'er in this trade. Or two... I saw this on ESPN and I was shocked. Those are the only two big names you ever hear about on the Marlins. They've both got a chance to really be great in Detroit. I hope my Red Sox get Santana, 'cause they could be in trouble with the lineup the Tigers now have. |

It's going to be fun watching the D-Train wear the Olde English D. If the Tigers can't sign Willis or Cabrerra to a long-term deal I'll be mad about the trade. But, if they do sign them long-term, this could be one of the best trades ever.

Well, my Royals picked up Jose Guillen, who had pretty good numbers last year (.290, 23 HR, 99 RBI), and they are looking at making a deal with Andruw Jones, who's a perennial all-star (despite his not so good numbers last year...). Things might be interesting for the Blue Crew next year. I might actually go to more games.  |
