Trogdor -- what a very important character. If you wear a trogdor shirt in public, there's a big chance of some guy coming up to you and singing the "Trogdor" song. Looka me! I'm writing an essay! But here's something wierd I noticed: Trogdor has almost never been animated with his usual look: i.e., non-20x6, non-sprite. What's your guys's thoughts on this?

We're talking about Homestar stuff. Cool. (Off-topic sections are fun, though)
I guess he's so popular that he appears in "games" and "anime" and appearing like that. He doesn't appear like this much on the website in the toons/games.
Another interesting thing to note: Nebulon has only made one true appearance in Homestar's dimension. Main Page 1 (if you roll over "characters". Other times, he's in The Cheat's badly animated cartoon or clay or on a diaper. (and many other appearances, including Stinkoman 20X6)

The wonder of the world is gone I know for sure...
Trogdor is a fictional character within the world of Homestar, and they basically decided to make him a video game character. How can he appear as anything other than the original drawing or a game sprite, or in the alternate 20X6 universe? I'm pretty sure the idea is that there is no real Trogdor. Strong Bad made him up and then somehow, an arcade game was made. That's pretty much the limit of Trogdor's existence.
