Woot I love the virtual console. I just started getting games off of it. So far I have.......

-Mario Kart 64 (Great game especially multiplayer)

-Star Fox 64 (Also a great game although its really short. I beat it in like an hour. Also the multiplayer isn't very good but the amazing single player makes up for it.)

-Paper Mario (I never got this game when it came out and I always wanted to play through it so I got it. I'm not very far in yet but so far it is really good. I'm only at the Koopa Bros. Fortress.)

-Pokemon Snap (Another great game although it is very short also.)

Paper Mario is out? May have to look into that. So far I've got Kid Icarus, Super Mario World, Star Fox 64, and Kirby's Adventure. I've beaten the second two, and have sort of tapered off the first two, though I may get back into them sometime. Mostly I'm just waiting ever-so-impatiently for Super Mario RPG, which I've wanted to play for years, but am personally against doing it illegally by finding it online somewhere. Ah well...maybe it'll be released simultaneously with Geno's announced appearance in Brawl?  Roll Eyes

I have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES, which is NOT the one I was actually wanting (I found out what I really wanted was the Arcade version), Metroid, Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, Super Mario Bros., Star Fox 64, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country II: Diddy's Kong Quest, and Ocarina of Time. I want to get Pokemon Snap, Paper Mario, Sin and Punishment, Donkey Kong Country 3, and Gradius III and I'm really waiting for Super Mario RPG, which, like 'Pressio, I've been wanting to play for years but I don't want to get it illegally, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Arcade version.

I'd love it if the original Smash was released on the VC. No more worrying about breaking the N64 controllers then.

which, like 'Pressio,

Just like how Potthole brought back Anakin by calling you Phoenix, you have just brought back the name Teatime. Grats.  Wink

LOL oops. You two do similar preferences when it comes to video games and TV. Not to mention you both have blue stars, and whenever I see blue stars, I just automatically assume it's 'Pressio, because if it was dB, he'd post in green text.

+1 for that.
I don't have many virtual console games.  Just Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario Brothers.  I used the gifting feature for the Wii shop to give someone Metroid, though.
Yeah.  Super Smash 64 would be a brilliant VC game.  It'll prolly be released on some "Super Smash Brothers week," kinda like those Metroid games were for "Metroid week."  Just a guess.
BTW, I found out that Super Mario Bros. can be played with the DDR dance pad.

I have Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong Country, Super Metroid, Galaga, Sonic the Hedgehog II and Bomberman '93.  I know I should play Metroid, but I've barely played any.  I got mildly stuck, gave up, and haven't picked it back up again.

I've spent at least $280 on my VC games. As I've said a million times, the Wii needs to allow us to play games from SD cards. I have 2.5 gigs just sitting here.

Paper Mario is out? May have to look into that.
While not quite as good as SMRPG in my opinion, Paper Mario is still a superb game. The game has very solid RPG/Platforming gameplay and a great, yet simplistic, story too. While the game is mostly not too difficult, it still presents enough challenging fights to keep you on your toes. It's definately a lot better than its two sequels, even with their enhancements.

Ah well...maybe it'll be released simultaneously with Geno's announced appearance in Brawl?  Roll Eyes
Ahhh... Wouldn't that be nice...

Zee list:

Alien Soldier - Not Treasure's best game, but still a great "run n gun" game.
Beyond Oasis - I found this game very disappointing and repetitive. Really wish I didn't spend my money on it.
Breath of Fire II - Despite having the single worst translation of any game I've ever played (C'mon Nintendo! How could you not fix this?), it's still a great RPG with not a half-bad overall story.
Dynamite Headdy - Again, not Treasure's best game, but a lot different than most of the other titles they offer. A fun and overly challenging platformer that brought a few new ideas to the genre.
Gunstar Heroes - Treasure's Best Game. And that's really saying something.
Kirby's Adventure - Great platformer. Isn't quite as good as it's SNES platforming counterparts, but that's excusable by it's 500 price tag.
Mario Kart 64 - Has aged a lot since I last played it, but still a lot more enjoyable than Double Dash.
R-Type III - Side-scrolling space shooters are not usually my thing, but this game's amazing soundtrack and "Just one more try" mentality sucked me in quickly.
Shining Force - My first SRPG. After playing so many other games, it has lost a little of its appeal. But the formula akin to (inspired by? borrowed? stole?) Fire Emblem still is an enjoyable one.
Sin & Punishment - Half Star Fox 64 and half Gunstar Heroes. A great combination that makes me sad that we missed it the first time around.
Sonic the Hedgehog - I really regret getting this. Not that it's a bad game (it's really good actually), but I already have like 2 copies of this game on compilations. Not the highlight of the series, but still worth it if you seriously have no other way of playing it.
Super Castlevania IV - The highlight of the "old-school Castlevanias" to some, IV just didn't do it for me. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I thought I would (or probably should have).
Super Ghosts N' Ghouls - Difficult, yet never cheap. Playing through the entire second level without being hit is one of my biggest gaming achievements Tongue
Super Mario Bros. - I payed 5 dollars just so I don't have to deal with my faulty NES.
Super Mario World - I payed 8 dollars just so I don't have to deal with my SMW's faulty battery.
Super Metroid  - Awesome. Lives up to all hype.
ToeJam & Earl - Disappointing. Good thing I already have the second one for the genesis (which I very much prefer).

Coming to a grand total of $137. .Probably more when you consider most of those point cards I was paying ~$30 with tax. Only recently have they dropped to $20.
