First Ever Flash - Crappy Cupcake Toon
« on: February 14, 2008, 07:32:59 pm »

I just got Flash today and I was toying around with it.

Rest easy, knowing that someday, I will be better than this. And I will have a tablet.

Heh... when I first started, I didn't even know how long to make the frames so that the text was readable and yet not stuck on the screen for too long. Good job.

Btw, haven't seen you in a while, Chocmet.

Aww.. poor green-gradiented disembodied head-fellow! He can't experience the luxury of cupcakedness!

I have to say, that's the best first Flash I've ever seen, as far as overall aweXomeness goes! The speech cracked me up immediately (I burst out laughing at, "I'll eat it."), it was well spaced, and although there's limited movement, the mouths were effective! My first Flash was... This lil' ol' thingy. DuAAaaAAAaaH! Yours is much better in comparison! I hope I get a tablet some time in the future, me-self! That'd be the bees knees!

I give it an 8/10, overall!

O_o Skye, your first is so much better than mine! It involves, like, actual animation!

Thats an awesome first flash, definately keep with it and I'm sure you'll get better fast. Also what version of flash did you get, just out of curiousity.

That was pretty awesome for a first-timer. My first one was worse than that! It involved a guy throwing a rock at another guy, and had three keyframes. I didn't get that good until my second one!

I also thought the humor was pretty good too, so:

9/10 and a +1 karma

(I would have given you a 10 of ten, but I think you could have tried just a little harder on the cupcake. I'm glad you've already found out about gradients, though)
