I love how my roommate thinks that I should do the dishes when I barely use them. Now, I don't mind doing them, but he's gotta realize that because I really only use my own dishes, which are cups, and maybe occasionally a bowl or plate and a fork or spoon, that doing dishes is not high on my priority like it is on his. What really irritates me is when, like this morning, I wake up and there's a sticky note on my computer saying "Please do dishes!" It's like, hey, genius, I'm not five years old. Besides, I was gone pretty much all day Thursday. What did he do? Well, based on the fact that Halo 2 was in my Xbox when the last game I played on it was Half-Life 2, I'm guessing he was playing on my Xbox with someone. That would have been the PERFECT time to do dishes. *sigh* Only 3 more weeks, only 3 more weeks, only 3 more weeks....

I had that situation with roommates last year.  I solved it by washing the dishes I used- and those only.  I just let them pile up their own dirty dishes until they were out of clean ones to use.  To keep it so that I had clean ones to use, I'd keep a glass, plate, bowl, fork, knife and spoon hidden with my stuff- so that I always had my clean stuff ready.

One of the two other roommates would always eventually wind up washing their dishes, until he dropped out of school, that is.  The last remaining roommate would sometimes leave crap piled up in the sink for weeks on end.  Which, was fine with me, because I had my personal stash hidden.  On some occasions, however, he'd leave a bunch of uneaten food in his pile of plates, and it would begin to stink.  He'd get the clue that he should clean them when he'd see me leaving a Glade Plug-In in the socket near the sink.

You know what else I love? When our Spanish teacher says we're going to have a vocab quiz today, and I study hard for it, and we end up not having it. That's just great.

I also love how Firefox forced itself to close due to "unknown error" three times, meaning it's taken me an hour to post this post.

Whenever I wear a WWE shirt, someone has to "break it to me" that wrestling is scripted.

Really? I didn't know that. All these years, events such as a woman giving birth to a hand, a man being thrown into a burning dumpster and living, and those multiple marriages and divorces were...fake?

NO WAI!!

All sarcasm aside, I know wrestling is scripted. I've known it since I started watching it when I was 5 years old, hasn't degraded my enjoyment of it one bit. So, I guess I'm supposed to only watch horrible 'unscripted' reality TV shows? And I guess every other show on TV (even reality shows, to some degree) aren't worth watching, because they're all scripted too.
Srsly, that annoys me to no end.

Yeah, people tell me that whenever I mention that I watch wrestling, and they go "You know that's fake right" and I go "You'd be surprised at what exactly is real and what's not." I haven't watched week-to-weeks since last year, but I always manage to stay just interested enough and just informed enough to enjoy Royal Rumble, No Way Out, and WrestleMania.

Speaking of which, I just finished watching WrestleMania. I think I'll change my avatar and siggy to a Ric Flair tribute, once I find the right ones to use. I really liked how at the end of RAW they just broke kayfabe and had this big tribute to Ric. I think that's awesome, and that there are definitely moments where it's appropriate to break kayfabe.

Great, like my thoughts on my state politicians aren't bad enough.

So, I've been playing WoW again, though as an alternate character, this time a Paladin. I've seen paladin's do crazy damage, or absorbing all kinds of blows like it was nothing, so I decided to try one out with the only horde race that can, the Blood Elf. After going through the same quests for the 50th time like I did on my main 70 rogue, and my mage, etc., I got her up to level 19. Yes. I said her.

For some stupid reason, a thought came to my head that didn't have to do with slacking off or cheese.

"How about I go through the lvl 10-19 bracket of the Battlegrounds?" I thought to myself. I remembered a few painful memories when I had a troll mage, and when my BE rogue was that level, but for some reason I went ahead with it.

The first one you can go to is a capture the flag match disguised as some control thing between the night elves and orcs, blah blah blah. YOU CAN'T HIDE WHAT'S INSIDE.

Anyways, I buffed myself, and then ran into the fray. Running past everyone, I got into the Alliance's flag chamber. "Oh this is easy." I grabbed the flag and ran out. No one seemed to pay attention to me at all, so I ran into our tunnel. I was 3 yards away from capturing their flag when someone else grabbed ours, and by that time three frickin' gnome rogues ganged up on me and killed me, ultimately making me drop the flag and then they returned it. We of course lost that match. And then I remembered why I hated that bracket so much. GNOME FRICKING ROGUES.

Gnomes! Frickin' Gnomes! Those 2 feet tall little idiots with their stupid hair and small arms and legs and high pitched voices and beady little eyes and stupid beards and... and... where was I going with this?

Those rogues are what most would call twinks, or what I would call retards who wasted too much time and money into a character who is low level and owns other low levels which isn't much of an accomplishment. The only time PvP is good is when you are 70 and want to go through instances, but your armor is comparable to a wet towel due to the damage things do to you.

I picture the people behind the computer controlling these little freaks of nature as someone who is most likely single and has a 70 as well as lots of extra money and some friends who could run them through instances for this stupid gear. They are most likely an engineer, due to the little guys having +10 racial for it. Then they have a friend enchant their already godly armor into something like a shield of pure diamonds surrounding them.

After which they will do one of two things. Maybe three.

A.) They will protect their precious flag by staying around it in stealth and then ambushing whoever comes near it. Due to their pimped out-ness, they can halve someone's health in one blow. Then they finish you off because they hate you so much.

B.) They will camp the graveyard. Graveyards are where everyone spawns after they die and due to their smugness, will stay there and kill everyone who spawns, though they have to spawn again and they will kill them again, doing it over and over again because they are losers who have nothing better to do than just own people around their low level.

The 10-19 bracket is stupid to stay at. At 20, everyone gets some awesome new ability. Rogues start the godly poison quest to learn poisons that either do lots of damage or slow people to a crawl. Paladins get consecration, flash of light, I think exorcism... lots of awesome stuff. I've now just noticed that this rant is around a half page... so to wrap this up, I will say this:

I HATE GNOMES.

You know what I can't stand? People that can't give you a straight answer. I have this friend who got this sweet jacket. I asked him where he got it, and he decided to be an idiot and not give me a straight answer. "Oh, home." Right. What store? "In the mall."

Just give me a straight answer here, because you're making yourself look dumb and look like a jerk.

You know, he had a folder on his desktop that said 4- nevermind...

Regardless, my current rant is one that has to do with standardized tests. Does anyone else find them, I don't know... easy? Everyone freaks out about them and crams and stuff and groans when they approach, and I'm just like, "Sweet, I'll finish in an hour and use the rest of the period to finish So Long, and Thanks For All the Fish." Everyone always goes "ZOMG ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THE WASL? I'M GONNA FAIL!" WASL, for those who um... don't live in Washington stands for something like... um... I can't remember. Washington... assessment of student learning? I guess? Anyway, the teachers all freak out and stuff and make us do all kinds of prep. But seriously, it's just... an analogous scenario would be like having a meeting, and your job is solely dependent by what you say in the meeting, and then they ask you questions like, "What's your name?", "What is your quest job?", "Why did you take this job?", and the old favorite, "Explain your resume using pictures, numbers, and words."

A rebuttal, if you will, about earlier said "I HATE TWINKS" arguement. You'll need some hefty knowledge of the game to keep up, most likely. So, most of you, I wouldn't bother =/

First off, your mistake is even entering a 10-19 Battleground. It is not worth the effort, as rogues have an unfair advantage over every other class in the bracket due to when classes get their skills. Their damage dealing capabilities, espeicially with enchants, are not matched by any other class. And since armor is all but meaningless and stamina is hard to come by, they easy one shot everything in their path. The 20-29 and 30-39 brackets are also heavily twinked, with the later being sometimes more painful than the aforementioned 10-19 bracket as the best enchants in the game are available to the players, but that is besides the point.

Secondly, I take offence to your stereotyping of those who choose the path of twink, for my RL Friends and I have our very own twink guild run completely by us. We fight in the 20-29 bracket, with Two of my friends being the accursed rogues (one of which I would go as far to say that he is one of the best players in the entire battlegroup) although neither of them gnomes, the Ret paladin whos bubbles make him nigh indestructible, three holy priests for those mad HoTs and Psychic Screams, a feral druid with his deadly combination of Feral Charging, Stealth, and backup heals, and I, the undergeared mage who dies in three seconds but not before he polymorphs your healer and does his arcane explosion dance until he's oom.

We do not play our twinks to laugh at the sorry noobs and/or alts that have wondered into Warsung unprepared, but to match our skill on a fairly equal playing field. Thus, being the closest you can get to such equality seen in modern FPSs outside of the Tournament Realms.

Now, All of the brackets have unique challenges (GAH! 19 ROGUES!) and obstacles (GAH! HUNTER TRAP!), but it is never so and so a class reigns supreme, but those with the most skill (apart from the 10-19, but it is, again, not worth my breath). True, if your run of the mill 23 Tauren Rogue (tee-hee) wonders into a BG full of twinks, he is likely to be one shotted by <BALEETED!>ociates. But Blizzard has since changed the way they deal with battlegrounds, matching all lower level brackets with appropriate gear levels, meaning if the Seven of us are ready to kill some hordies in a round of AB, 9 times out of 10 the people standing next to us and fighting against us have the same enchants and the same gear.

This, I find, levels the playing field even more than 70, where such matching does not exist evident by A) me being slaughtered by Rogues with both Warglaives even back before my first 70 epic and B) Resilience, the stat that kills endgame pvp for me and many people I know, as it becomes more about survivability than skill. Stack up on your resilience, and you could staff me to death and I wouldn't be able to kill you.

So, basically, we twinks aren't bad people. We are just those who like to PVP, but don't have the time to arrange hours upon hours of arena fighting to get enough resilience to last 10 seconds in a BG. We just want a place where skill is the main motivator. Not a place where Resto Druids can kill you with thorns, where Warlocks have more health than my guild's Main Tank, and where a paladin and a shaman Yes, I'm a Shaman with a Staff. What's it to ya? will look around and say "What the heck have I gotten myself into" and promptly die of stunlock and silence.

Mini-rants about unimportant things that annoy me!

-I hate playing Band Quickplay on Rock Band. Because I'm forced to play Enter Sandman 10x a day. It's a good song, but playing it so much makes me want to bash my skull in with a hockey stick. Downloadable content is a big part of the game, people. BUY SOME.

-Speaking of Enter Sandman, I hate "modern rock" radio stations in Ohio (well, and everywhere). All they ever play is Metallica's self titled album, some Nickelback, and Smells Like Teen Spirit. (99.7 "The Rock", you're guilty. And you were better when you were "The Blitz")

-I hate getting tons of emails from colleges when I don't have the time to sort through them all.

-I hate Ceramics class. I'm not a good artist. I make bad art. That gets me bad grades and lowers my GPA even though I'm doing great in real classes. Why did I even take this class? I'm dumb.

-I hate missing Home Movies because my DVR is busted and I can't stay up late enough to watch it.

-I hate how metal hates Ohio.

I'd be willing to pay the absurd ticket price just to see Mastodon and Five Finger Death Punch, but the tour doesn't come to Ohio, of course.

It seems like all the really BIG concerts stay the heck away from Ohio, and the concerts that aren't as huge (but still cool) don't come to Columbus, which is really the only town I have the ability/motivation to take the trip to.
