play on any other stage besides Corneria
See, that's just unsportsmanlike. Corneria is actually a really good stage for Pikachu. Thus, you should always, always, always have it on loser's pick when having a one on one match. That way, the who lost the last match can pick a stage that the other character is not good at. Sort of like a home field advantage.

If your playing a three or four player match, you still shouldn't play on just one stage. Random or alternating picks are a lot more fair than a single selection.

We usually just play one-on-one matches, but I'm gonna start randomizing it from now on.

We don't always play in Corneria, but it's 90% of the matches. My opponent(s) mainly prefer flat, plain stages without environmental hazards (Final Destination and that one Zelda level are popular too). I don't really care though.

They are usually quite aggravating,

What did I say yesterday about this? Hm?

I was just coming here to rant about that. I have a friend that beats me almost every time that I play Brawl, because he refuses to:

a) play with items
b) play on any other stage besides Corneria
c) use anyone besides Pikachu

And he spams the everloving crap out of Down+B and Down+A. I'm slowly learning how to beat him with both Game & Watch and Wolf though, so it's not as bad...but he's so good at spamming those two moves that I end up getting annoyed and throwing my controller out of the window after two matches.

Nothing better than bucketing 3 lightnings with Game & Watch, then dumping it on Pikachu for massive damage. It sounds like your friend has a real bad case of the NIFOs. Yes, the "No Items Fox Only" disease began in Melee, and has since evolved to include a few other scenarios. My friend is hooked on Pit's bow. And in Melee he would shoot Samus's missiles until the cows came home. Sadly, there is no cure for the NIFOs. Spamming on your part to counteract their spamming is the only remedy, but two wrongs don't make a right...

G&W's turtle

Really? The turtle? It's pretty good but I've never seen it spammed. Coming across someone else who uses Game & Watch is rare enough. And I play online a lot. The ratio of Ike to Game & Watch is easily 30:1, but I digress.

Dude, that was agitating. Not aggravating.

Yeesh.

I don't play online. I can't, really. My internet just is too bad for it. Last time I played, it took me 12 minutes to finish a two minute match. Did I mention I live down the street from this guy?

But I digress...

But from what I have seen, read, and practiced, you can spam the turtle very easily if your good. Continuously turn and short hop across the stage and, since the turtle attacks through shields, you just force your opponent right toward the edge. I really haven't seen it implemented in many matches personally, but have seen videos of it in action. Don't know how practical it would be though.

What I do with Game & Watch is I use the key whenever possible (down A in air). I make good use of his smash attacks. I bucket any projectiles when they're predictable enough. And I just love getting a 9 on judgment. I have this one replay where I got a triple KO with the 9. It was sooo awesome. But I digress...

I'm just naturally good with every character it seems, never spamming and always winning. Just yesterday I was trying to do the Gigallypuff glitch during an online 2 minute battle. I probably spent 15 matches waiting until we got to the Bridge of Eldin, and every one of those matches I won. Winning... as Jigglypuff... yeah. In the end I did get Gigallypuff, and I dominated. But I digress...

If more people would try to be good with more characters, Brawl would be a lot more enjoyable for everyone. But I digress...

Here's a rant:  I hate video games.  I hate when a large part of a group of people talk about video games frequently or for a long time, and I feel isolated and disjointed.  Because the world revolves around me and I will not stand to be left out of any conversation.

Today at my cousin's wedding, we talked at our table about a variety of subjects. At some point we got on the topic of rising gas prices and what was causing them. The two people I was talking with about this were convinced it was because of the war in Iraq. Now, I don't have a problem with them stating their opinion. However, doing some research, I knew it was really because the guys determining the price of gasoline were jacking up the price just to make a profit. They told me it was about the war and supply and demand, that we weren't getting the oil we needed because of the war. I won't delve into my details here, but basically every time I tried giving a counter-point to their point, they acted like I was too young and didn't know what I was talking about.

Now, I get that most people my age don't really know that much about politics or what's going on in the world. I get that. But, I know more about politics and national and international news than the average person my age. I'm not bragging here or anything. I'm saying this based on what all I know and what all my friends from school know. During the primaries I knew who had won what states and what the major issues were for voters in those states, as well as other national news and political things, such as the whole Rev. Wright thing with Obama. My college friends knew little or nothing of what I was talking about.

So, when I actually do research, pay attention to the news, listen to the news analysts, and form my opinion weighing everything, and people act as though I'm too young and inexperienced and uninformed for what I'm saying to matter, that REALLY bothers me.

A while ago, I was just chilling, looking up Guitar Hero custom charts on YouTube and I saw this one that looked really hard - I don't remember what the song was called or who it was by, but it was some French band and the song title was in French too. Anyway, besides the fact that it's French, all I know is the vague melody which has been stuck in my head for a long time. It's kind of a jazz fusion song, so perhaps that gives you guys a vague idea of how it goes. Now here's the thing - it got stuck in my head completely randomly about three months after I heard it, I realized I liked it and I want to listen to it again, and maybe listen to more songs by this band.

But uh... I have no idea what the band was called and I definitely couldn't pick it from a list of French fusion bands if there was one so now I'm stuck, just hoping that I'll stumble upon the video again.

Radio Song by Superbus. Excellent song. Just do a search on YouTube for the song and you'll find plenty. As for more music, iTunes only has one album, which isn't the album that has Radio Song. I got the song though from Galbadia's Hotel.

Superbus is jazz fusion?

>.> Radio Song doesn't sound like that...

(So besides "custom", "french name", and "jazz fusion", another tip-off that it isn't Radio Song is "really hard")

One of the things I hate is when my brother and his wife comes over and installs a bunch of crap onto my computer that I don't need without asking. Then I have to go back and uninstall it, which takes some time to do and is just generally annoying.

And for some reason, they somehow manage to screw something up on it. Last time, they someone caused my recycle bin to vanish. Poof. It wasn't there. After reading up on some stuff and fiddling around, I managed to get it back. I have no idea how the heck they made it go away. And now to make sure they didn't screw anything else up.
