So I was playing Guitar Hero II yesterday, alright? I was playing The Light that Blinds because I needed to 5* it, and I did. I was playing Psychobilly Freakout because I needed to 5* it, and I did. I'm now 39/40ths of the way to the log, and 61/64 through with 5*ing everything. Great. My last song? Misirlou. I can't even get 4 stars on Misirlou - my best average multiplier is 1.7x.

So after trying a bit, I give up and play Six. Six is the considered by many to be the hardest song to 5* in the game. Yet, what multiplier do I get 5 times? 1.9x, once being 1000 points away from 4*ing it. Now, this is bad because: a) I was really hoping I could 4* it, and b) it makes me angry that I'm better at SIX than at FREAKIN' MISIRLOU.

I turn on Guitar Hero 1, the only song I need to 5* is Cowboys from Hell, with 4*, and all bonus songs 4*d. Guitar Hero 80's, all that's left is Play With Me, 4*d. Guitar Hero 3, Raining Blo- oh, yeah, I already got Raining Blood. I 5*d Raining Blood and I CAN'T 4* FREAKIN' MISIRLOU.

It's so annoying. Let's look at all the songs I have to 5 star: Cowboys from Hell, 4*; Misirlou, 3*; Jordan, 3*; Six 3*; Nothing For Me Here, 4*; Take this Life, 4*; The Way it Ends, 4*; Through the Fire and Flames, 3*. Let's look at just the 3-starred songs, Misirlou, Jordan, Six, and Through the Fire and Flames. Let's remove Six, because I'm confident I can 4* that in just a couple more runs.

Misirlou: Can pass consistently
Jordan: Fails consistently, and without the help of a miracle, I wasn't able to pass it.
Through the Fire and Flames: Passed twice, only because of that danged intro.

Because of this, I've gotten: 1 run of Jordan, 2 runs of Through the Fire and Flames, and ... 87+ runs of Misirlou. And I can't break 1.7x

One of the only things keeping on playing WoW is that my guild is actually pretty good. It's named Oingo Boingo. Bit of a silly name, but either way we're really good in dungeons.

Though I've never done a heroic with them yet, there have been promises of us going through Karazhan, a crazy 10-person dungeon. You have to get a key to first be able to enter it. Being a rogue, I can normally skip those key quests and just get my lockpicking up and open them that way. Guess what? I'll quote Star Wolf on this one.

"Can't let you do that Star Fox."

Now I gotta go through a dungeon with my group to get a part of the stupid key. It's Shadow Labs. From what I looked up, the bosses are crazy. One has exploding voidwalkers that heal him and hurt us... another sometimes mind controls the whole group causing us to go free for all on eachother. I don't know how we're gonna do it, but we've beaten others before.

I've never joined a PvP realm for the sake of the possibility of some dirty Alliance person ganking me in the contested areas. Though when I even go into the battlegrounds, we completely suck. The only place we don't is Arathi Basin where the Alliance intend to just zerg one node, leaving the others ripe for the picking.

In Alterac Valley, everyone just runs towards their end, capping a couple towers along the way. Apparently, the Alliance had the SAME FREAKING IDEA, though they are somehow faster. The Horde captain and General's health is lower than the Alliance's,  in the next patch their's is supposed to match ours... though it won't make a difference. I still need freakin' 50 marks of honor from that place for my other pieces of epic gear. If I was back in the 60 group again, we'd be winning every one. That's how I got my cool wolf mount, got 50 of them easy. You get 3 marks if you win, one if you lose. I hope that we start winning soon, or it's gonna take me forever to get the rest of my gear.

A Guitar Hero rant? Don't mind if I do!

Why is it that whenever I mention that I'm really good at Guitar Hero (winning prizes at city-wide contests and whatnot) people tell me "lololol lrn2play a real guitar u loser." Okay then. How about, instead of playing First-person shooters, you go join the army? Instead of playing racing games, drive an expensive sports car 90mph down a city street at night. VIDEO GAMES =/= THE REAL THING. That goes for Guitar Hero. I play Guitar Hero because it's competitive, it's easy to compare scores with people, there are fun, bright colors. In essence, it's a GAME far more than it is a GUITAR. I've been told by many people that I should try to learn guitar, because of how good I am at Guitar Hero. But, as of yet, I've had no real ambition to. I may, in the future, but I'm interested in having FUN in a VIDEO GAME more so than joining the ranks of every long-haired college hippy who thinks he's the cat's pajamas (what?) because he can play Wish You Were Here on a real guitar.

People look at me funny when I have my Guitar Hero controller on behind my back. Thing is, whenever I do that, I normally find at least 3-4 people willing to play with me.

One of the things I find stupid today, is that news shows are always laced with celebrities. Things like, "Britney went to rehab!!1" "Miley made a sandwich!" "K-Fed went across the street!". Though that's a little exaggerated, some of it is true.

What we need is some new celebrities. We liked the stars back when they were young and single and in bands that rocked. Now Britney and Timberlake are just old news. I mean it. Who in their right mind cares about every movement a celebrity makes?! It's stupid! A celebrity could walk out of their doorway to get the paper, then walk back in, and there'd be an hour special on Inside Edition about it. Woop dee frickin' doo. They did something normal people do.

And the death of a celebrity, though tragic, is dragged out for about three months. The first week was fine, it's sad that they died and now we're figuring out how they died and stuff. Then the weeks drag on and all they have to say is "We're still figuring out how they died" and then they go over it again for about 15 minutes. Yes, we saw the SAME THING yesterday. It's like they have nothing better to do so they just waste time until the next useless bit.

So, yeah, guess what? I 4*d Six and Misirlou. Guess which one I 4*d first? That's right, Six.

Anyway, I was also playing Push Push (Lady Lightning) to try and break um... some score. Can't remember right now. Got less than 200 points away from it. Pah. Once I was done with that, my glasses lens popped out. I'm like, "My glass! My glass! I can't see without one of my glass!" and so I'm crawling on the floor, looking all over for it, and guess where it is? On the coffee table. In plain sight. Right next to where it popped out. And it took 3 minutes to find it. Oh well. At least 3 minutes is a small amount of time, as opposed to three weeks.

That's what happens to me. Although... it's EVERY time and it's been for a good 10 months now. And I can't play games, and I can't watch flash toons, and IE has a bunch of spyware that whenever I go to open it, I get some discount on a trip to Delaware.

My biggest annoyance today- bad drivers.  More specifically, those who tailgate as if they're in the middle of a NASCAR race.

Quit tailing me on the highway- the passing lane was created for a reason.  You think 5 over is too slow?  Go around me, don't ride my butt.  Quit tailing me through my fiance's apartment complex.  The posted speed limit is 15, and I'm going to drive that.  Especially these days, when there are little kids out running around and playing.  Quit driving an inch off my back bumper just because you think you're in a hurry.

Same can be said for Michigan.  Holy crap did it get annoying seeing all these "Deathstorm 2008" weather reports.  Sure, this winter was the worst one we've had for awhile, but often a big deal was made out of nothing.

Near my house, there are 2 roads to get to the hill to get to school, one main and one narrow (without a stop sign). Everyone usually goes the main way, but the other way is used if you're behind a cement truck or something... Anyway, sometimes I get someone behind me who I know is angry at me for not going 80 mph in the suburbs. So, I go down the main way, and he immediately turns onto the other street. That's when I floor it. I make it to the intersection just before they do, and I go ahead. And they can't pass me for a very long time after that, so for that time I just gloat.

If I'm really mad at them, I'll go even slower than I was before.

I love how my roommate thinks that I should do the dishes when I barely use them. Now, I don't mind doing them, but he's gotta realize that because I really only use my own dishes, which are cups, and maybe occasionally a bowl or plate and a fork or spoon, that doing dishes is not high on my priority like it is on his. What really irritates me is when, like this morning, I wake up and there's a sticky note on my computer saying "Please do dishes!" It's like, hey, genius, I'm not five years old. Besides, I was gone pretty much all day Thursday. What did he do? Well, based on the fact that Halo 2 was in my Xbox when the last game I played on it was Half-Life 2, I'm guessing he was playing on my Xbox with someone. That would have been the PERFECT time to do dishes. *sigh* Only 3 more weeks, only 3 more weeks, only 3 more weeks....
