And your husband looks like my 12th grade high school director and the high school youth pastor of the church that oversaw my high school. And that's not a bad thing, because both were really cool guys.

Our honeymoon consisted of a two part trip.  We spent the first 10 days in Hawaii and the final 4 four days in Las Vegas.  It was absolutely incredible.  I recommend every last millisecond of the experience, and if anyone wants me to talk their ears off about either place then I will.  For my money, the three best moments were (in order) Flying over the active lava flow on the Big Island, driving up to the top of Haleakala to see the sun rise, and being 3 rows from the front at "O" in the Bellagio.  As for my incredibly dashing husband, I'm pleased to learn that he looks like the really cool guy that he is.

Being a redhead rocks.  We're a dying breed, after all.

Geez, 57 days?!  Let me give you some advice, since if you are anything like us, you've been peppered with advice since you started dating.  Sorry to pile on.  ENJOY YOUR WEDDING.  Say "I will have fun at my wedding." every single morning while you're brushing your teeth (which should sound hilarious), and whisper it into your pillow as you're going to sleep.  Things will go wrong.  The photographer will freak out because the sun is going to set in five minutes and you're still in the receiving line, you're wife will drop her food down the front of her gorgeous dress, and your college best friend will serenade you with "The Massochism Tango" and then post it on You-Tube.  That's just my wedding.  Your's will be equally unique, and if you tell yourself that you're going to have fun, instead of freaking out about the inevitable blemishes, when your father forgets the boutineer and has to steal the ring bearer's just as he's about to march you down the aisle, you'll just laugh and not freak out.  That having been said, I wish you only the best.  I hope that your first 4 months as man and sidearm are as blissfully silly as our's have been.

By the way...the DJ pronouced my new last name completely wrong the entire evening.  We laughed all night about that one.

Things are really getting exciting now- we've wrapped up most of the big stuff in the planning process, so basically now we can just sit back, relax, and eagerly await our big day.

A few weeks back we had a meeting with the folks at our reception location and they mentioned that they'll have bocce ball outside on the lawn for people interested in playing.  Half joking, I mentioned we could play whiffle ball too.  All thought that was a great idea, so it looks like my bride and I will be spending some time outside playing whiffle ball!

We were on Big Island, Oahu and Maui.  However, we decided to be shut-ins on this trip.  (No cell phones etc. and no visits to family and friends)  We're hoping to go back in a year or so...and maybe we'll see you then?
