Ghosts was a cool thing.  I'm looking forward to hearing this.  It's good that more artists are experimenting with digital distribution.

I still haven't bought Ghosts. I almost did, but I got Boxer by The National instead, should I go back and pick it up when I get the money?

I got it from a torrent tracker  Undecided

It's probably worth the $10 (an amazingly respectable price for a 2-disc set).  I've actually only listened to it once, as I was falling into a refreshing nap.  It was interesting to see a well known guy like Trent doing something experimental like that, though.  I can't fully comment on the quality of the music yet, I have to listen to it again some time.

Prior to the release of Ghosts I-IV, I enjoyed very little of Trent's work...everything after "With Teeth" was a bore, IMO.

But Ghosts brought me back, and it is undoubtedly my favorite NIN album of all time. The Slip is more of the type of music that was on Ghosts, and that's a good thing. Solid album so far (only on track 5).

Riddle me this: If I know a total of one (1) Nine Inch Nails song, and it's from an earlier album (Ten bucks says you can guess which one), and I like it, but my musical taste is... expansive, will I enjoy this album? It's not really a gamble because it's free, but... just wondering.

I'm assuming you're talking about "Hand That Feeds" (if that's even the name of that song). This album doesn't really sound like that (IIRC. I haven't listened to it in a week or so), but I would download it anyway because I really like it and it's free.

Hey guys, Ghosts I-IV is $5 as an MP3 download on Amazon. Don't know how long it lasts.
