So what do you guys consider to be perfect albums, if any? These aren't necessarily your favorite albums.
I can only call one album perfect in good conscience:
Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over the Sea - If you've listened to this CD in it's entirety, I bet you can at least semi-agree with me. And if you haven't, shame on you.

Mastodon- "Leviathan" Beastie Boys- "Paul's Boutique" The Mars Volta- "Frances the Mute" Boston- "Boston" (might be pushing it on this one, but there really are no bad songs on it)
To me, perfect album = no weak tracks + a cohesive, front to back experience + depth and lasting appeal that makes you want to listen to the album again just to pick out the little things you missed the first time.
I really really like Alice in Chains' self titled album, but I cannot call it perfect because there's some songs that bring the album to a screeching halt. Skippable tracks takes away an albums 'perfect' status...unless it's an absolutely epic skit or something.

Can - Future Days
The ambience of this album is nearly unmatched. Pummeling psychedelia, trancelike grooving, perfectly performed and presented vocals, anybody could get lost in this.

Alexisonfire - Alexisonfire
Every other CD I've listened to has at least one song I detest, loathe, or just think it's okay. Not to say that AoF's debut album is the pinnacle of music history, but just one without flaws (see my argument about "perfection" in gaming). In essence, Alexisonfire is beautiful. Both consistent in its form, yet every song has its own distinct feel, mood, and flavour. It's an album that works equally well as a single entity and as separate tracks.
It's not for everyone, that's for sure. It's rough around the edges, but that only makes it more natural. None of this over polish that has taken part of the soul out their later music. This is raw, energetic, and what the band is about.

Self-titled albums are pretty good, I see.

Origin of Symmetry - Muse
Going by the criteria of "no bad songs." In fact, mostly awesome songs.
The Wall - Pink Floyd
While picked apart song by song this album is not one of my favorites, not even of Pink Floyd, as a whole it is really powerful. If you can listen from start to finish, both albums, and not be a little choked up on the last song, you must also enjoy punching kittens in the throat.
Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - Smashing Pumpkins
This album is really interesting. From one of the most beautifully mellow albums I own to one of the most intensely heavy, yet it all flows together nicely. Also features the only two songs I've yet to hear that feature scream-singing that I feel actually adds to the song rather than takes away.

The Crane Wife - The Decemberists
I considered some others, but this is about as good as an album can possibly get in my opinion.

The Carpenters' 2-Disc Gold Album, Tally Hall's Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, and David Huntsinger's Autumn in New England. *twitches* Yeeeees... THE BEAAAUUTY!
On my choice #1... well... I've been in love with The Carpenters since I joined this forum. So 5 years now. I got the album around two years ago for my birthday and have since played it close to a million times. There's not a single song chosen that I don't love! Theeere may be songs they wrote that I love not included on this album, but hey, they have quite a few albums and quite a few songs to choose from, so I can understand that. Karen's one-of-a-kind voice surrounded by an ethereal aura of warmth and emotion coupled with Richard's amazabulonderfistastical symphonic arrangements... not to mention their intricate harmonies with themselves... well, it's just PERFECT.
Favorite favorite songs off the album: Mr. Guder, Goodbye to Love, I Won't Last A Day Without You, This Masquerade, Ticket to Ride
Choice #2: Tally Hall has blown me AWAY since I saw their Good Day video, and since then, I just can't get enough of them. Hawley, Horowitz and Cantor are all amazing, prolific, yet completely hilarious songwriters who aren't afraid to come off as silly. I love every song on the album, and they fit so nicely together, despite each song being in a completely different genre. Their album is like its namesake-- a collage of wonder, amusement, meaning, intricacy, life, and love. "No other place in the contiguous United States!"
Favorite favorite songs off the album: Taken for a Ride, Good Day, Be Born, Ruler of Everything, Spring and a Storm
Choice #3: I doubt anyone knows this guy, but his compositions are AMAZING. It's like a fusion of jazz, classical, Irish, and movie soundtrack music. Each piece is remarkably visual (like a busy summer's day from sunrise to sunset) with David's piano leading most of the action, with strings, flute, bass, odd percussion instruments and saxophone backing him up from time to time.
Favorite favorite songs off the album: A Ship A-Sailing, A Pale Rain, October Sends a Favorable Wind, The View from Nauset Light, Autumn Dreamcatcher
