I asked this question in an old CGN poll, looking for the new one (if there was one.) But then, to my horror, I discovered that NONE OF THEM ARE CLOSED!!!! AND THEY FLOOD THE POLL'S SECTION!! I just can't believe this. We should, at least, delete the last one one as we go. They're funny and interesting, but that could also be said about a CGN thread. Plus, there's many that can still be voted on. They're not even declared sometimes. PS: When's the next CGN poll?  |

P.S. As for your second question, I think the current CGN still has some mileage on it. When the tank gets low on fuel, someone will make one up, don't worry.

Yeah, closing CGN's is one thing (takes care of the last post contest) but the name polls? Unless someone revives one, I don't really see a point in locking them.

No I think he's right. It's so cluttered with CGN polls that it would be hard for a real poll to be noticed. Not that people make polls very often, but why doesn't a mod take a minute to clear out the old ones when they've got some spare time?

Occasionally, I find myself wanting to make a poll topic. Here's something: a tag on each new CGN poll as of today about what date it was made. (I.E.: "It's the CGN Poll, charlie brown!!" (09/21/08-09/32/08)" ) But anyway. I agree with Bonkava that there should be a CGN polls section inside the "Little Questions" section. No I think he's right. It's so cluttered with CGN polls that it would be hard for a real poll to be noticed. Not that people make polls very often, but why doesn't a mod take a minute to clear out the old ones when they've got some spare time?
