(Yes) Diablo 3!

Yeah, it's Diablo III.

Details:
- Barbarians
- Witch Doctors
- Three other classes we don't know about
- Deckard Cain appears
- Tristram is a place
- You probably fight the devil at some point

To be released: When it's done, but not 3D Realms "when it's done," this is more realistic

So Blizzard has been slowly revealing this splash page each day. It started as a wall of ice, then stuff started to appear, now the ice has opened up and a pair of eyes can be seen.

Some people say it's something stupid, like another World of Warcraft expansion. Some really try to stretch it and say that it isn't ice, but actually minerals from Starcraft, suggesting that we will receive some sort of big news regarding the already announced Starcraft II.


But sane people that say Warcraft is being milked enough (myself very much included) and have many reasons why this is Diablo III, none of which I care to talk about because despite the fact that I believe them, their reasons are just as crazy as "ice is minerals."

Unfortunately, I have reason to believe that Diablo III will drop the eight player per room aspect and become an MMO (an acronym meaning "More Money, Oh!"). Regardless of what happens, though, I pray the game isn't released until 2013 - when I get out of college. Otherwise I'll probably have to drop out.

The bottom left symbol is a Protoss symbol from Starcraft. Just throwing that out there.

From what I understand, there have been symbols from quite a few Blizzard properties in the picture.

There are now some lovely eyes staring through the hole, along with a snowflakey symbol. Might have to do with The Wrath of the Lich King, but theres still the symbols from the other franchises

Most people I'm talking to still say it has nothing to do with WoW. They have intentionally made this picture as ambiguous as possible. At this point people have said it's either Arthas, Zeratul, or Diablo.

And as such, this has allowed us to realize that most Blizzard characters have glowy eyes.

Zeratul made me lol. I really doubt it's him, but yeah, too ambiguous to say really. Hopefully we'll learn something big while Blizzard is in Paris

Still think it's just about Wrath of the Lich King. Symbols may have appeared elsewhere, but the whole ice theme doesn't really fit anywhere else, not that that is the only evidence to support it.

Mostly just a gut feeling on my part.

True, and I don't believe that it would be Starcraft at all anyways. SC2 was already announced and not even in beta, and Ghost is more or less done. Wrath of the Lich King seems correct.

However, something interesting: The Blizzard job openings point to two different projects: an MMO and a non-MMO. Also somewhat interesting, the first three symbols pointed to the 3 franchises, (in the correct order from which they were made right?) while the fourth and 5th symbols are new/unknown

Also, I'm mad because my internet starts running extremely slow around midnight. So I'm gonna go to sleep.

Ah, the internet is the only place where people can see a giant wall of ice on the main page of a website for a game in which the next major expansion will take place on a giant wall of ice, and immediately devise a dozen theories on how it has nothing to do with said game or expansion.
