I've seen it. Definitely up to par with other Pixar films.
I think they shot themselves in the foot though by making Wall-E unable to speak fluently. Any jokes were made through varying tones in his voice, but there isn't much room to work with there to make things funny. That isn't to say that Wall-E's didn't make any jokes, but if you compare it to Toy Story, you'll notice a big difference. Later on in the movie though, there are actual voices.
Overall, I liked it. The story is a mystery to viewers at first, but bit-by-bit the pieces fit together to see what has happened, and that was pretty cool.
Pixar looks like it's making a big statement with this movie, unlike the others...
- Toy Story: No message. Just a what-if scenario. - Bug's Life: No message again. Bugs are bugs. - Toy Story 2: Small message. Being with the ones you care about is better than fame. - Monsters Inc.: No message. Another what-if. - Finding Nemo: No real message. Just a feel-good movie. - The Incredibles: One small message. Capes are bad. - Cars: Medium-sized message. Nice guys finish first. - Ratatouille: Another Medium message. Anyone can do anything no matter who they are or where they come from.
BUT Wall-E on the other hand (SPOILERS, by the way)... is following the ever-popular trend of promoting the green agenda. Instead of the pleasant Toy Story world, we get a barren wasteland with trash piling up everywhere. The Buy-N-Large corporation easily parallels to Wal-Mart (Wal-E-Mart?). Pixar strays faaar from the cute stories and smacks its viewers in the face with a semi-plausible future of a lifeless Earth at the fault of corporations. Not only that, but Pixar also takes a swing at laziness, depicting the humans as fat, robot-dependent slobs.
Ah well, it's still a good movie. And now we get to look forward to the next Pixar movie, "Up," which may or may not be CGI by the look of the concept art.

I think the lack of speech-related jokes was more than made up for with the whole plot scenario in general. The humor was just slightly more subtle, not necessarily less in quantity.
It seems to me that Pixar's just matured, both in animation and in story writing. And I don't think that's a bad thing.

This movie was simply amazing. It's hard to come up with anything that felt lacking. Best movie of the year,if the trailers before this one are anything to go by (they are not).

Would you believe second best? [/86] So uh... Yeah, that was better than I expected. The movie was awesome, and I actually agree that it's the best. (and seriously anakin, Finding Nemo > The Incredibles) and uh... some guy named Stephen Shaffer was in the credits and I thought of Steven Shafer and uh... that's about it.

Finding Nemo over The Incredibles? C'mon, you're talking to a complete comic book geek here.

*cough* Oh yeah. I was going to mention that, add a clause like "but of course, you'd prefer a movie about superheroes," but I decided it'd come off as rude.
<.< Although sometimes when I'm feeling high and mighty I don't mind being rude.

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, I loved Finding Nemo, but I love The Incredibles so much more, and I'm pretty much of the opinion that the only Pixar movie that could top The Incredibles is The Incredibles 2.
