Never before have I been so insulted and offended. If this preview were not shown before the best movie ever in the world, I would have walked out of the theater before whatever movie was on.
What's wrong guys? Mexico too boring? Just didn't check the stock footage?
Check out how hard it is to hear the music IN THE TRAILER. Like they don't have a sound editor or something I guess. I literally averted my eyes the whole time this trailer was on as though it were the grizzliest horror movie ever devised.
This movie is trash.
I gave you -1 just for making this thread, because some things should just never be discussed

So is anyone else even more confused after seeing the second trailer? I saw it before Stepbrothers and I somehow have less idea of what it's going to be about, still don't want to see it though.

Man, this movie's Wikipedia page gets hacked so often.
What's sad is that Beverly Hills Chihuahua seems to have a pretty high profile cast (Drew Barreymore, Andy Garcia). Additionally, it probably a) has a bigger budget and b) will make more money than the Watchmen movie.

They've got a preview before that movie too? Ah, crap. Must remember to arrive late when going to see Stepbrothers.

I never read the Watchmen comics, but I will go see it five times to make sure it makes more money than Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

Actually, I could see The Watchmen being just as big of a success as Iron Man. Okay, maybe not THAT big. But a very successful film that will (if there is any hope in humanity) make more money than this crap.

It depends on how audiences take Watchmen. It isn't really a conventional superhero comic.

Exactly. While I obviously can't speak for the film itself, there are a number of reasons why I am not so sure about its financial possibilities. We're looking at a very R-rated superhero story here. While Watchmen will be directed by Zack Snyder, the book has VERY little in common with 300, a film that used stylized comic-style violence as one of its many selling points. I'm definitely not meaning to knock the source material, but I certainly do not think that 300's story was the movie's main focus. While definitely very violent and brutal, Watchmen is very much concerned with narrative substance. The humanity of its cast is important, as is the dark and hopeless Cold War atmosphere. This is the main reason why I am skeptical: I feel as though the movie is guaranteed to alienate one side or the other. Either Snyder and company will emphasize action at the expense of remaining true to the source material (in order to appeal to a more mainstream audience), or they will cling to the book and tell a slower (yet not devoid of action), focused, thoroughly depressing story (a decision that would likely hurt its box office gross). Beverly Hills Chihuahua, on the other hand, seems like a much more reliable business venture. Despite how absolutely terrible the movie looks, everyone who has seen that trailer knows what to expect from the film: schlocky, candy-coated drivel. For some reason, however, audiences seem to respond to that. These three movies were all huge box office hits, and I would rather smash my DVD player to pieces than watch 10 minutes of any of them.

I just don't like how the trailer said, "From the maker of 300". It's gonna bring the wrong people.

You know what's the worst part about this film? A masterpiece is going to shown right before they play this abomination of a film. I hope it makes all them' sick people who paid to watch it flee for their unartistic, uncultured dog-loving lives. Explanation: It's said on Wikipedia they're showing a deleted segment from Fantasia 2006 (which has since been canned. DYAAGH.) at the beginning of it. This was a project started by painter Salvador Dali and Walt himself back in the 50s or so, and recently finished back in 2003! Here's a filming of the entire thing at an exhibition. It. Is. BEAUTIFUL.How in the world could those people at Disney live with themselves?! *tears hair out*

I must admit. I am thinking I may just enter this movie for the first bit, watch that piece of moving art, then proceed to make the biggest high pitch scream one can make when the film actually starts, as if someone had just been murdered right in front of me.

So there are live action people in this too? That maybe brings it up a small step in stupidity.

I'm loving the concept! If my parents decide on going to watch this film, I may just end up doing the same!
