On August 9th 2003, bhz brought these boards online. What started out as a modest community with only a few boards has grown into this incredible forum. Times have changed, people have come and gone, but these boards continue to be my favourite place on the Internet. I'm proud to have been a part of this community for the past 5 years, and look forward to more great memories on the site.

Thanks to all of the admins that have run this place over the years. You have all done fantastic work, and I know that the role is not easy to fill.

Thanks to the Brothers Chaps. Even if you have lost touch with the site (I definitely check it out every week), many of us were drawn here due to a mutual interest in Homestar Runner. Thanks TBC, not only for your great work, but for bringing this community together.

Thanks to all of the members who have supported me in all of my ridiculous activities on the board. If you read sadmail, participated in Survivor/Jeopardy, or were just genuinely kind to me, I deeply appreciate it. I never thought I would make friends in a place like this, but I certainly have and I am very thankful for that.

Thanks for reading. If you have the chance and want to let everyone know what this forum means to you, this is the place.

It's been an honor and a pleasure to be here since...well, almost since the beginning. Three months isn't that much missed time, right? Right? I look forward to spending as much more time into the future as I can here with all you amazing blokes (Except Depressio. FFXII hating pigdog.)

Been here since August 2004. I can't remember the last time I checked the main site (one of my goals is to completely catch up in the next year), but I'm glad it existed if for nothing else than the fact that I looked for sbemail secrets and found this forum and, well, the rest is history. I've been on many other forums, and this one by far is the best.

I can't believe its been 5 years already, even though I've only been here 4. This site helped me so much and I can't believe how mature this entire forum is and how great of a community we've developed. Uh...no I don't.

Anyway, this forum has given me 4.5 years of good memories on the web. Through the exciting times, to the dull times, to the good times, to the bad times, it is been one heck of a ride. I'm pretty sure this is the only online message board where I have actively spent a least a year reading and posting on it, and it is due to all of you guys (and gals?). While the board isn't as relevant as it used to be, everyone here keeps discussion going, no matter how "irrelevant" it is. Here's to five more years!

Wow folks... 5 years ago, about this minute too, I stumbled across these forums, not aware of how much of a family I would have.

Since day one, I have been on here and been a part of so many things and made so many friendships. I still recall my first friend on here, Holy_Crap, and other friends such as Won The Powerball, and even to this day, Depressio.

I remember *enemies* so to say, such as FHQ, which later turned out to be great friends, and Homsar, the almighty spammer (Also stole my name, and that is why I am "Homstar" which is Homsar and Homestar put together; not a typo).


I remember the fun games, especially the Member Survivors. I think i won the first one... Anyone care to correct me? The after-parties we always had, usually containing melonade. When this place was such a community and "family", and although many of us have disbanded or left us, we are still the same forum we were 5 years ago.


...To think that when I came on here August 9th, 2003, I was only 10 years old, had very bad grammar, and was quite the spammer. (Yes I know that rhymes  )

Through the blackouts and the spammers, to the fond anniversary topics that we have ever year, no one says home like BHZ.  Everybody toast to a wonderful 5 years and many more to come!   (Yes even you too, jCompton!)
