Check out Arkham Origins and see if it feels like Arkham City, and tell me how awesome Watch Dogs is.

Also, if you feel like it, see if Assassin's Creed IV is actually any good.

I can almost guarantee you that Watch Dogs will not be playable. Ubisoft loves, loves, loves their developer playthroughs.

Arkham City I might check out... if it's not busy. WB is usually fairly low key as far as booths go, but Arkham City had a huge line the year it was there.

Dang. Dang Ubisoft. That game looks amazing.

And I believe Arkham City was huge, but for some reason I feel like there's not as much hype over Arkham Origins. Not sure if it's due to developer change, replacement of Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, or just more hype for other games. So maybe it won't be as bad this year.

Then again, reports from Gamescon indicates massive lines, and that's in Germany.

Combination of those two elements and two system launches this year. And probably a lowering marketing budget.

Holy heck, PAX East three-day passes sold out in one day.

My girlfriend is working for a small local game studio called Lunchtime Studios, and they're trying to see if they can get exhibition passes. In the meantime, I think I'm just going to buy a Friday and Saturday pass for both of us. Only $5 more than the three-day, and who really needs to go on Sunday, right?

Yea man I live in a small town outside Philly. It's like a 15-20 minute drive to Wells Fargo Center. Where are you at if you don't mind me asking?

Fairly nice neighborhood, nothing to do unless you feel like buying something.

On the subject of PAX East I've wanted to go for years solely for the Mega64 panel but money is always tight and it's around the time my job gets very iffy about requesting off.

Yea Mega64 is one of the main reasons I go every year. I can't get enough of those guys. Their panel is always a good time.

PAX Prime sold out 100%, all 4 days in less than 10 minutes last year. I bought tickets 5 minutes after it opened and all 4 day passes were sold out.
