USB drive issues
« on: March 11, 2011, 08:49:02 am »

Okay, I bought a Sandisk Cruzer 16GB USB drive and formatted it for use on my xbox. Today it decided to stop working; the xbox treated it as though it did not have enough space to even reformat it. Putting it into my computer, OSX claimed that it was a 67.1 MB drive so I attempted to erase (reformat) it. The time to completion is steadily creeping upwards with no signs of actual progress. I am utterly lost; do any of you have an idea of what to do?

Could it be possible that when you formatted it, it was formatted for Microsoft? (since OSX didn't work)
If you want, I'll bring my laptop over later and see what I can do.

I am pretty sure that reformatting means changing the format to whatever your computer (or xbox) can read.

Sounds like something you should hit up the Xbox Support Twitter (@XboxSupport) for.
