This section is intended as a place where new members may announce themselves, and for retiring members to post retirement threads.  

Other threads regarding vacations or prolonged absences should not be posted here.


New members are encouraged to read the Forum Rules as soon as possible, so they won't find themselves getting put on probation or even banned. 

Leaving members should read this thread about when it is permissable to post a retirement thread, and when it is not.

Enjoy the new section, and remember ...
