Kid: Wait a sec...you're not the REAL Homestar. You're just a cheap knock off. Who are your friends? Strong Ad and Da Cheat?

Homestar: Hey, I know Da_Cheat.

Homestar: Well...what should I do then? It's not my fault that this other Homestar shares my good looks and sense of...panachey...

This is one of those in-continuity things. A rare occurance for a sadtoon, especially when it has a direct impact on the character's appearance.

Note: This is not a sadmail or toon. This is just meant to answer some questions for my (four) fans. And no, I'm not trying to flatter myself either. I really am addressing some real questions.

Wow. Do you write all the sadmails yourself?
Yes I do. Unless the sadmail is posted by someone else, like That_Goblin or fun_timey, it's written by me.

Is Depressio supposed to be like Strong Bad or Strong Sad?
Heh...when I started these, he was going to be much more of a Strong Sad-type. But, as you know, characters evolve, and Depressio has changed into a much angrier guy than originally intended. I blame it on fun_timey.

Is That_Goblin supposed to be like The Cheat?
Not really. T_G does his own thing, but he's not mean spirited in the way The Cheat is.

Are fun_timey and FatDudley related?
Maybe. How's that for a plot twist?

Which characters live together?
Depressio and That_Goblin live in the same house. We know that fun_timey lives within walking distance.

Where do the characters live?
It is revealed in "Road Trip" that they live east of West Dempsey. So I'm going to have to say the gang lives in East Dempsey.

How come people like Gelatinous_Monster and Homestar Runner are characters in your sadmails?
Well, it's probably because I know them. Yeah. Many of the characters you see are somewhat based on people I know. Mostly not, but oh well. In the case of G_M and Homestar, I felt that they each would contribute something distinguishingly unique to the show, and I hope they have.

Can I be a character?
Sorry, but I'm not really looking to add in any new character. The trouble with creating a new persona is that they have to be completely unique from the rest of the characters. Also, if you let me use you as a character, I wouldn't know how to make you act, and I kind of don't want you telling me that I portrayed your character wrong.
