Whoa. Freakin' A, dudette. Goofy & bizarre, yet brilliant and well-executed. A good combination. You really nailed the character's personalities, and you also paint a rich picture with your descriptions, which few authors bother to do nowadays.
I almost fell out of my chair when I realized what "Homestarzipan" was referencing. You're the real deal, Choco.

It's getting even better now... My favorite quote has to be "STICKY CRAZY MAN!" from that whole chapter. *spoilers ahead, drive steady from them if you haven't passed by the 5th chapter of Odd Creatures... or... don't have a car.* The chapter starts off very ominous, like something scary will happen. Luckily, it's just Tapioca, Strong Mad's equal and girlfriend jumping onto him with a few big wet ones.  I love how they teach each other a few things, though it doesn't really work. .... "SAAAAAAAAAA!!"  That first part has to be the high light of the story. Then comes Coach Z, asking Tappy to join his sports team. Tappy however refuses from a minor difficulty she has with sports and *ahem* politely makes Coach Z leave. Soon after, Tapioca leaves to discuss Strong Mad with Marzipan, a really weird conversation pops up from it... and the plot thickens... like, into a thick... mustard... paste. SB talks to Tappy about all ridiculous things SM has done, probabobly to make Tappy go for him instead of Strangle Man- I mean- Mad Guy. But that doesn't stop Tapioca on letting SM bring her to the carnival. Cute events occur during the night, and Tapioca soon has to go to sleep. But in the morning, um, er, don'twannagiveitaway. Read it for yer self. You'll see. Well, here's my ratings: Ominous... ness: 5/10, but hey, it's not supposed to be 100% ominous... or... at least not yet. Hilariousness: 10/10 Grammar: 10/10 Plot Thickener: 10/10 Eye Opening Ending: 10/10 Overall Awexomeness: 10/10 Keep It Up! -HSRT |

Chapter 6 really gets things going. Suddenly the title makes sense, and I see how important the carnival really is to the plot. Nice work mixing elements of your own creation with the existing elements. Lots of people royally screw stuff like that up and end up with weird hybrid stories. Great new villain, the right mix of wicked and wacky. I'm interested in how this turns out.
...Did I just say "Koff"?
