A whole album, eh, S to the B...to the...um...G? That sounds like a challenge!

Erm, yea, sorry, they're right here. I ripped the album as a whole, and there's a few seconds' space between tracks.

Bubs - "Hey Strong Bad, you jumped over some of my buses!"
Strong Bad - Rhythm n' Grammar album

Any more?

Naturally. (I assume you meant from the montage e-mail, #117, as opposed to monument, #95?)

You can download the different town song on the download page I think. And if it's not there it's definetly at the end of the email.

You can indeed download the Different Town song as a zip file. Once again, message me if anyone out there needs help on working with this file type.

As for the others...
Strong Bad - "And the Trogdor comes in the...NIIIIIIIIGHT!"
Strong Bad - "WIDESCREEEN!"

If you want that widescreen one to cover more time, let me know.

I got yer song right here!

Ahem.

Seeing as it's an inifinite loop, I decided to use a few loops to make this mp3. Put this on "loop" somewhere on your computer and go to town.

Swedish flag song from SBEmail 43

And if you like what you see here, I also have an entire thread devoted to this type of stuff. So maybe someone with mod powers can merge these two (hint hint?).

Yeah, I can. I usually like to wait for people to specifically request stuff though.

But I did anyway.

Strong Bad - "But this particular flashback has way too much historical significance to be shown in anything but WIDESCREEEN!"

A true magician never reveals his secrets...

...fortunately I'm no magician. So here goes:

1. Download and install GoldWave (www.goldwave.com) or some similar program. I like GoldWave because it's straightforward and lets you make mp3s, but if you prefer something else, feel free.
2. Go to Volume Control and adjust the recording input. A-like so:
     a. Click "Options," then "Properties...".
     b. There should be an option that says, "Adjust volume for...". Select "recording" and click OK.
     c. You now have a list of recording sources available. Make sure the box under "Mixer" is the one selected.
     d. For results that aren't earsplitting, turn down the "mixer" volume to between the first and second notches from the bottom. Otherwise it's gonna be all crackly and overdriven and not good.
*-If you want to do this with a Mac, you're on your own. I don't know the equivalent menus because I find Macs satanic.
3. Open GoldWave and create a new file, probably mono and 1 minute or less for most quotes (unless you're trying to record an entire cartoon or something).
4. Open the swf file from everyone's favorite Internet cartoon. It helps if you have Macromedia's "SA Flash Player" (which is at least bundled with Flash MX) so you can pause/fast forward/rewind without clicking a million times.
5. Click the big red circle when you're near the part you want to record, and you're off.

Also a good idea to trim and normalize the file so you don't have huge blank spaces in the middle and overdriven patches, respectively. When trimming, remember also to try to trim an area where the volume is zero (that is, there's no sound coming out); otherwise you get clicks and stuff and no one likes that.

An even better idea is to turn off all other sounds (especially for programs like AIM); otherwise you'll pick up those sounds in your recording as well.

There are probably better methods out there, but I'ma stick with this one. Any requests?

Fhqwhgads uses some kind of special equipment to get a sound uplink or something to record his speakers, sinse for some reason there is less bass when you use the swf decompiler.

He said he didn't want to sue those for his quotebox because they were low quality.

But from what you've said you're not using the decompiler, so perhaps we could use goldwave to help fhqwhgads with his quotebox again. I think i may ask him about that. Perhaps we could start helping him again.

Thank you to the Lock Neck Modster over there for merging Carter's request for the Swedish flag song with the main thread.

And despite the fact this thread has veered a bit off-topic as of late, I'm still waiting for requests. You got a whole new e-mail out there; who wouldn't want Strong Sad's radio personality or "smooth and smarmy" or Strong Bad doing college radio or the Stoops and Whatever show?
