This is one of my FAVORITE shows. I love all the mystery, it kinda reminds me of The X-files back when they had good episodes.
My favorite charachters are: Charlie, Sawyer and Locke.
Every week I have a hard time wating untill wensday to see whats going on!

Oh thats the show that my mom watches. All though I have never watched it myself. Even though I walked into the room when my mom was watching it and I saw a Polar Bear in the middle of the jungle which was rather odd.

I've seen bits of LOST, mainly the end because it always seems to run over into Alias's time. I would have watched it, because it's got Merry in it (that's Dominic Monaghan, who plays Charlie I think, in case you didn't know) but I forgot to tape the episode. So, I'll wait till the first season comes out on DVD and then probably either rent it or buy it, and then I'll watch season 2.

All i can say is, don't watch the finale episode until you've seen the rest of the series. It gives a lot of things away. and the series isn't quite the same if you don't watch it in order. Kinda like 24 in that way. Fav character: Hurley ( Love the backstory with the "cursed numbers". and his flashback episode has to be my favorite.) Characters that aren't necessarily my fav., but are needed in this show: Sawyer, Locke, and, to some extent, Walt. Basically, for all yous who don't know, the show is about a group of people who survive a plane crash on an island that is anything but normal. All the episodes centre around a specific character and what events lead up to them boarding the doomed plane. This reveals more about the character and, basically, "why they are the way they are".

I'm definetly buying the season 1 DVDs, because I didn't start watching the show untill about a quarter of the way through the season.
I actually didn't think that the finale gave that much info, but looking back, I' glad they didn't tell us much. Gives us a reason to keep watching.

Actually, now I won't have to rent or buy it when it comes out on DVD. ABC is re-running the series, starting all the way back at the pilot episode. Which means, I can see for myself how good it is. First episode aired last night. Pretty good. Hasn't clinched me yet, but then again the story hasn't really taken off yet. Nice to see Greg Grunberg (Agent Weiss on Alias) make a cameo as the pilot. Now if only he and Terry O'Quinn's character had met. Talk about deja vu! Anyways, there's a lot of people I recognize. The pregnant woman is from Roswell. The Korean man is from 24. Terry O'Quinn is from Alias. And, of course, Dominic Monaghan from LOTR. Now, if only they can mention LOTR, just once.

Ah, the new season of lost. You have forced me to resurrect this thread from the dead. i realize with the time zones and crap that some have not seen it yet, so i won't spoil anything. The season opener has given me answers to questions that i have wondered about for months. It had me sitting on the end of my seat until the final second of the episode (well, i actually was standing up at the end of the episode saying "I told you! I told you!" to my sister.). But with any answer, several questions arive. How and why did Shannon see who she saw? Why, how and what is exactly in the hatch? What connection does the numbers have to the hatch? why is the hatch the way it is(what it said on the hatch door)? What happened to kate? Why was Hurley at the place he was previous in life? What is going on? I asked myself that question all episode. A great start to a season that will probably be more shocking than the last. Something you may have missed: "4 8 15 16 23 42" was what was entered into the computer at the start of the episode.

I hate LOST. My friend's dad pitched the idea as a TV movie to several networks, and well, they stole the story and characters. I know this because he told me the movie's plot about 2 years before it came out. I guess ABC stole it though. Oh well. Here's his IMDB page by the way. It doesn't mention LOST though. Wonder why...

SPOILERS: Ah, that's what the 'brother' guy typed in...thanks for posting it.
I just got done watching it, and ya, it was pretty crazy... The huge blue light thing...Crazy Walt...toe wigglings...etc.
That was a pretty nice apartment that guy has set up down there...I like how they started the episode with that scene. Anyways, Now I want to know what happens...the commercial thing at the end was all like "everyone's fate will be revealed next week" Oh noes!

*Quickly returns from the edge of seat.*
Yes, I was on the edge of my seat since last night, great episode, I almost forgot it was going to be on!
Did anyone else notice the guy with the gun in the end was the runner in an earlier scnene?
Pros: Answered a lot of questions, asked a lot more questions...
Cons: I had to explain it all to my dad, he's not the best with these kind of things...
