I'll bet i know someone else on the forum who just recently finished watching Pudge Rodriguez win the second round of the home fun derby tonight But of course! Heck, I was nearly there in person! I was able to find a couple of tickets, but I couldn't really afford the $100 they were asking... now, had I gotten paid last week, I probably could have splurged a bit, but alas, last week was not a pay week.

Weelllll... I'd bet it's safe to say that a Home Run Derby is usually pretty fun too.

My brother works at a low rank of ESPN watching college football games on saturdays and keeping track of the scores. It's usually bad teams though.
Only on Saturdays.

We're going to Provincials! We're going to Provincials!
Despite our horrible record of 6-8 this season, my high school's soccer team is headed out to provincials. We won our district championships the other day in a close final. The game was tied at the end of regulation, so it went onto 5 min halves golden goal (or overtime). That solved nothing, so we went into shootouts, which still solved nothing. Then we went on to sudden death shootouts, where our goalie made a terrific stop and our shooter score, shooting it straight into the top-right hand corner.
I am one of the only five players returning to the team, so we had a whole bunch of new players to work with. I never expected for us to make provincials.
on an unrelated note, go Astros.

Wow. Lufis and a post in the sports board.
Moving to a football tack, how about those Colts? Undefeated so far this season.

Yay Colts! Living an hour out of Indy, I'm a big Colts fan! Also, in today's game against the Texans, Peyton Manning threw his 87th touchdown pass to Marvin Harrison (my favorite player) extending that combo's record to two past that of Steve Young and Jerry Rice.

I figured it was him. I think all the mannings are awesome, but now Ole Miss stinks since there aren't any of them.
