...and there is only two analog sticks, which means the rotaing is either scripted, or the whole-thing is pre-rendered.
Very astute observation. You sound like you really know what you're talking about. I'd bet that footage is pre-rendered.

One thing that really baffles me about the controller, is why SONY desided to change everything, except what needs changing! The shape of the PSOne/PS2 controllers was amazing - best stock controllers out there. But the Square, circle, triangle thing was moronic. Probobly an attempt by sony to look "unique" early on, but it was very difficult to "Feel" your way through complex button sequiences, because all the thumb-buttons were the same shape, size and color. That was the issue that needed addressing, not the shape. That's too bad. If nintendo's "Surprising" controller sucks, that will put an end to good controller design as we know it.

I personally think that the PS2 controller was flawless. Perfect in every way, and easy to use.

Another thing: the PS3 controller on display at E3 had a little sign next to it that basically stated that it was a prototype. No doubt Sony was going for something with a futuristic look. I think there's a possibility that the PS3 controller will end up almost exactly like the PS2's.

I'm highly excited about the PS3. I'm a fan of the PS series, and each playstation keeps pushing the limits, and seeing what this thing can do, I dont know if it can get any more realistic than this.

Yet, I'm kinda unsure of this whole Boomarang-type shape they used for the controller. But you never know.

Yes, Yes, this is definatley the dream system of our time.  This is a drool fest for any bloodthirsty videogamer.  Any game that comes out for the PS3 will have full authority to laugh at any game before it.

I dont know if it can get any more realistic than this.
It can ALWAYS get more realistic. until you are unable to distinguish visually between a tv show, a video game, and real life, it can always get more realistic.

I will be getting a ps3. After my faulty ps2, I don't trust sony enough to buy the ps3 within the first year and half of it's release. I probably won't have enough money either.  Grin. Rest assured, i'll buy it eventually.
