Thanks man. I really appreciate you saying that.  Maybe I'll approach FFXII like that sometime. If anything, it would be good to list my problems and see what you and other people think. I think it might be that there are aspects of that game that I don't like that others really enjoy. |

I love the Solar Gun. When I first recharged it I didn't know what was going on. But then I got the reference and couldn't stop laughing.
That gun was REALLY hard to get.

Disgaea 3's out today (in Canada, anyway). I am itching to pick it up, but then I'm brutally reminded that I would have zero time to play it before University starts and, thus, having no access to my sister's PS3. The world is too cruel.
I didn't get through MGS4 either, so I'm going to have to wait until next summer (maaaybe Christmas) to finish that up. Although I did get through MGS2, three years after buying it (finally!).

To heck with that "maybe" business. I am making it my personal goal to finish MGS4 in the two weeks I am home for christmas. I will not be leaving until it is done. I just finished watching Gametrailer's excellent retrospective of the series effectively spoiling the four games in the series I'll never get around to playing (MG, MG2, MGS3, and Portable Ops). But man, was it worth it. I know some people had waited years in constant anticipation for MGS4, while I was interested, but not obsessed. Now, the next two months look to me like any MGS fan's two months before its release. Can't wait. And don't tell me I'll be disappointed. I'm not hyping myself up to an impossible high. I've come to realize in the past that these expectations can never be achieved (Metroid Prime 2, Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl). I'm just excited to play it. |

After playing MGS4, I haven't replayed any of the previous ones yet. Partially because I want to transfer my memory card to my PS3 and because the controls in MGS4 are (for the most part) much better than in other Metal Gears.
