Well, recently I have noticed that the BHZ chat has been over run. I find it no longer fun to join it because some members or ex-members ruin it. The main problem I have noticed is Edge and his "minions". I wont mention the names other than edge because some of them are members here. I think that we should try to get the chat back or maybe make a different one. Just a suggestion....if mods dont like it you can lock it.

Well, like Y_D has said, the bhzchat is completely seperate from the forum so they don't have any power, and if we made a new one I bet the troublemakers will find it.

Do you bother reading Action Cool News, Secrets, Bubs' Bookstand, Smells like E-mail, or boards like that? You'll notice quite a bit of non-Edge-related material in there.  |

The mods and Admins of BHZ can't control anything outside of the forum, even the AIM chatroom meant for the people here. I haven't been in one of those chats in a long time, for similiar reasons, but they techincally have every right to be there as we do, even if they hate BHZ or aren't even members here anymore. If you can start up another chat and get all the people you like to go there instead, then that's just great. But no one can just go into the BHZ chat and order everyone out. Well, we can, but I certainly couldn't blame them for not listening.

The AIM chat room titled "BHZ" is not being used by anyone, and the "troublemakers" really don't have any interest in going to it, as they already have a chat room (BHZ Chat). I suggest you just direct everybody there if there's actually going to be an official chat room for forum members again instead of complain about how Edge and his minions/cronies have invaded the old room, because, like Mr. Teatime said, there's no reason for us to go in and try to get them out.

Yes, but what happened to the Edge-free IRC chat?
I registered a chat channel called #bhz on the IRC server radon.gamesurge.net. It's not really the official BHZ chat or anything, but there's a bit of moderation there... |

BHZ chat isn't too bad. But if you don't want to go there, you can just make a new chat called "BHZ" or something. Like "Homestar Chat" or something.

What if we posted the official BHZ chat for AIM here.. but changed the name every week or so. The chat name would be in a section only visible to forum members, thereby not allowing guests to see it (or banned members for that matter).
The IRC chat is not bad, but most people have AIM.

I've added a chat portal that uses IRC to our forum. I have the channel registered, so I can ban people like Edge, etc. Anyway, it's beta.. but it's there.. give it a try. -bhz |
