Just so you know, I'm probably going to be away for a few days until real internet comes in. Our family's been doing some things equivalent to stealing, and we're going to stop that now. BLECH. The computer and the internet is just filled with things equivalent to stealing.

I will be gone from tomorrow until probably monday. I'm going down to Notre Dame to see a football game, and I'm staying in Three Rivers.

That might be a bummer of a game, but have fun anyway! I have become quite familiar with Three Rivers in this past year, my fiance has family there. Cool little town. |

I'm back from a hectic and stressful week. I was out of town visiting my grandma, who is doing excellent after successfully going through surgery against her breast cancer. My family was visiting her nonstop throughout the week and I was pulled from school as we waited anxiously for news on her condition. But she is on the road to recovery for now and hopefully will be out the hospital soon.
I also was went to High School Provincial Soccer tournament for the last time (Grad 2008!), where my team placed fifth in the province. Its not the way I would have wanted to end my "career", but it is the best we've ever placed. I also was able to grab my fifth shutout of the season against a team that was from a way larger city, a bigger school, and had a lot of talent (I think they were seeded 3rd in the province. We were seeded 7th). The win secured us the fifth place spot and a perfect last game for me.

That's great news about your grandma! 5th might not have been where you wanted to end your career, but it's not a poor showing any any stretch of the imagination. Great job on that!
