I don't know about you guys, but I find that there are just way too many off topic sections. The administration may have taken this into account, but I think we should just get rid of every OT section besides the Pit. I really don't like having to visit all these sections, and I think it would make the forum more user friendly.
Please take this into account. -Stix

I agree, but rather than get rid of them all, I think that it'd be better to just merge Books, TV, Video Games, and Music into 1 section. That'd leave us with
Combolations
-the new entertainment one
Nerd
sports
"the Pit"
Maybe even throw Sport in the new section, as well. I'm not sure yet.

I was thinking something along the same lines as D_B. Maybey:
Combine Video Games and Nerdular Nerdance into one "technology" based section.
TV and Music into a media section.
Keep Books, sports and the pit. Perhaps Books and Sports could be added to the media one, maybe.

Yeah, I like Teatime's idea... a "Technology" section, a "Media" section, and then a "Sports" one... with the book section, I think it would be best to just merge it into the "Media" section.

I think we should do DB's plan. I mean, the number of threads per section in there is quite slim. It's would make things easier in there.

Well once again, I can see that my idea has no real merit as far as the administration is concerned. I guess there is no more need to discuss this.

I did take it into account, and got Yello Dello's opinion on it as well. I read what a few of the mods posted, and I posted my thoughts. Not many replies have occured after mine... but it seems like you are giving up on the debate. Well.. you can do that if you want to. It's your choice. |
