Series of Unfortuante Events is my favorite series. I've been reading them since back when it started in 1999. I've read all 12. I saw the movie, which was horrible, as they rearanged the entire first three books and made it children safe. The new book is awesome. Several people are killed in it though, so I wont reveal anymore. I can't wait for the final book. After it, I probably bet they'll do a spinoff with the Quagmire Triplets.

So this one is not the final and the Quagmire triplets aren't dead? Thanks. Grin

Yeah, I need to go get numero twelve. Um, doce. Or, better yet, I'll read it in borders. Yay borders' "Don't care if you read" attitude!

Well, no, the book doesn't say they're not dead, but rather hints that they might reapear in the 13th book with the picture at the end. I said spinoff because maybe it might be a series that explains there story.

Oh and did anyone find the Seabald code message on Pg. 67 in book 12? It says "I can't tell if you're in or an enemie. Please respond." It's pretty sweet.

I love A Series of Unfortunate Events  Grin I've just finished the 12th book, and am already waiting for the 13th book! I'm so excited for the final book..there are so many questions you've had to ask yourself throughout the series that are unanswerd, and some you think you know but aren't sure of(Like I'm about 90% sure who Beatrice is, who all of the books are dedicated to, is, but I'm not 100% sure)

I've read up to 12, it's a very good series.

The ending should be cool, I wodner how many loose ends he'll tie up and how amy he'l leave hanging...

12 gets pretty different. I dunno what that code thing is.

You mean the Dewy Decimal system? Me neither. I'll have to look up some of those numbers and see what they are..maybe I could get some hints from it..

I mean the Seabald code. Haven't any of you read the Unauthorized Autobiography? The Seabald code is activated when somebody rings anything in the book. Then every eleven words following the ring are part of the message.
