Haven't read the book yet (reading Half-Blood Prince, borrowed it from somebody.) What happened to Goyle or whatever Malfoy's other underling is called?

So zetta slow!

He sends a sweet fire curse at Harry, and then Harry ends up saving both Draco and Goyle because he's cool like that.
Or maybe Crabbe sent the fire curse. But it was definitely one of them.
I actally enjoyed reading this, all except for the last few pages. But meh, that's probably because I didn't want the series to end.
In another exciting line break, I'm surprised that the final battle was as epic as it was. I figured that Rowling would have Harry do his own thing and completely ignore the battle, but I was proven wrong.

Crabbe sends FiendFyre at Harry, but, never learning to stop it, is killed by it, taking the diadem with it. Goyle survives and is left mourning his friend. That's the last we see of Crabbe and Goyle.

*Peter Griffin laugh.* By the way, Robot Chicken did a thing called "<baleeted!>s With Time Machines" where a guy goes back in time to a homeless hobo Rowling and tells her she's to become rich off a book series over the next 15 years but gives her a story about a magical raccoon with an afro.

Win.
I wicked love time travel paradoxes. I think that one is the only book that even non-fans of Harry Potter should really be able to appreciate. And Scabbers being the stalker after Harry is probably the single most un-foreseeable twist in any of the books, that still makes total sense when you go back and read it again, imo.

Yeah, but the movie didn't do justice to the book. The third Harry Potter film was the worst one of them all in my opinion.

Third one was the best. The time travel sequence was perfect. And, the movie was the film that most captured the spirit of the books.

There always has to be a least favorite and the third one was mine. I still enjoyed it, especially the time travel, but it was my least favorite.

I guess it's time to open up a can o' general discussion. What were everybody's favorite moments in Deathly Hallows? I've got a few.
-That monument at Harry's house with the magical graffiti -Potterwatch -"The Prince's Tale", "The Forest Again", and "King's Cross" (My three favorite chapters in the series, back to back) -"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU witch!" ~Molly Weasley

-"The Prince's Tale", "The Forest Again", and "King's Cross" (My three favorite chapters in the series, back to back)
These chapters might just be my favorite in the series as well. I just couldn't be more satisfied with Snape's final role. I love how the essential part of his backstory is hidden until the very end and how he ended up being a hero to Harry. "Albus Severus," Harry said quietly, so that nobody but Ginny could hear, and she was tactful enough to pretend to be waving to Rose, who was now on the train, "you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew." --Epilogue, p. 758I absolutely love this quote. I also just spent a good deal of time fruitlessly searching for another quote that made my insides churn. It was something about Harry either seeing or thinking about Neville and Luna and thinking that they 'probably still checked their DA coins hoping for another meeting date to appear.' Now that I think of it, that was probably in Half-Blood Prince, but it's one of my favorite quotes in the series. I'd be grateful to anyone who can find me that quote. It's gotta be one of the most powerful embodiments of the ideas of friendship and loyalty in the form of a sentence in those books. This book had a lot of great quotes, so as part of this "general discussion," post your favorites. I'll come up with more.
