My DVR hates me. It will record four star movies (Atlantic City, The Third Man), but if I want to watch Pan's Labyrinth or Renaissance (which I had seen most of before and is quite good) than I'm screwed.

Pan's Labyrinth is great stuff.

On a semi-related note has anyone else noticed that in the past two years of Oscar, the two films that seemed poised to win best Foreign Film haven't?

I kind of want to see Mongol, the nominee from Kazakhstan. Out of the nominee clips, it seemed the shortest. Budget seemed nice.

Anyone heard about the CSI/Two and a Half Men crossover?

Tonight, CSI's writers and crew are producing and episode of Two and a Half Men, and vice versa for Thursday's CSI.
