I don't think fists are good replacements for boxing gloves. Fists have knuckles, and knuckles are usually pointy. It's too easy to hit the key you're aiming for when you have pointy knuckles. Boxing gloves, on the other hand, are probably even harder to use because they're much rounder. I say probably because I don't have any boxing gloves to test them with. Would someone test it for me?

Also notice that when SB types his thumbs are pointed up, so he's using the roundest portion of his hand to type. No knuckles at all!
