Anyways, I have not read any books I would consider bad, I think they all have their own worth.

Please state your least favourite book. We stopped the burning subject. No more posts on book burning in here, please. This thread is called 'the worst book you ever read' not 'book burning'. So let's just stop it. I stopped. You should too.

I posted on the subject. It was an amazing, epic post that will shake the ages and make your grandchildren say "wow, what a great post."
Um.
Oh, another series that I tried to start was the Shannara series. Apparently it's pretty popular, but I made it about 100 pages into the first book and absolutely NOTHING had happened yet. I had just started another series at the same time, Dragonlance, which is so much better.

Agreed, you got me side tracked by Dragonlance so I've completely lost my interest in Shannara.

My older bro likes the Shannara books.

Now, I would like to state that I absolutey despise with every inch of my being 'The boys start the war, the girls get even' It's terrible. Badly written, sexist, and really boring. A troglodyte could write a book 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better than it.

Never heard of it, but it sounds terrible like watching Ben Afleck try and act.

It is.
Real productive post there . Sorry, anyway back on topic. I'd have to say the worst book I've ever read was The Giver. It's not really that bad, I just don't read many books and this just happened to be the worst I've read. Although The Chrysalids got pretty annoying after having to read it 4 times for different classes and doing tons of work on it...4 times!

Worst book I ever read?
"Lives of Girls and Women" by Alice Munro. And not just because I'm a dude. Sick, sick, sick.
Taking a lit course in a Canadian school gives you a whole bounty of crap like that, "Wild Geese", everything written by Margaret "the Beast" Atwood...
