Linking to a specific post.

Hey there. I was wondering how you can link to one certain post in a thread? I've seen it done before...not just linking to the thread itself or to a page...say the post in question is half-way down a page in the middle of the thread. I've seen people link so that when you click it, that exact post is the one that pops up. All I can do is link to the whole page, starting from the top.

Sorry if this is a bit confusing, but could anyone help me out?

I can answer this. All you have to do is click the link above the post (on mine is says CLICK THIS PART) then take the new URL and post that as a link.
