BHZ Awards 2005- VOTING CLOSED!!

Alrighty, folks, us mods have been talking for a little bit, and would like to try the first ever BHZ Awards ceremony.  Now, before I go on, I'd like to lay some ground rules...

1. These awards are ment to be FUN.  That means we expect everybody to take them as just fun, and not too seriously.  If we see people going too overboard on some of these things, we won't hesistate to shut down the awards.

2. All awards have been already chosen by us Mods, so please do not give ideas for any new awards.

3. The awards we will be giving out are "fun" awards, nothing real serious (like "Best Member" or anything like that).



HERE'S A SHORTCUT TO THE VOTING THREADS

With that being said, I'll give a brief rundown of the different awards we will look at giving away...

-Coolest Forum Section
-Biggest Forum Moment of 2005
-Man of Many Words Award (Awarded to the member who seems to have the longest posts)
-Silence Is Golden Award (Awarded to the member who seems to have the shortest posts)
-Forum Techie Award (Awarded to the member who seems to always be talking about the latest and greatest technology)
-Official Forum Fanboy Award (Awarded to the member who is the biggest diehard fan of a video game system)
-Furthest Off Topic Topic (What topic was started in 2005 that was the most off-topic, way out there?)
-Fastest Fingers Award (Awarded to the member who always seems to be FIRST to respond to a new topic)
-Most Exciting Forum Game (What was the best forum game of 2005?)
-Smiley Award (Awarded to the member who seems to most often use smilies in their posts)
-Human Dictionary Award (Awarded to the member who seems to use the biggest words in their posts)
-Forum DJ Award (Awarded to the member who always seems to be doing something with music)



So, folks, those will be the awards we hope to give away!  There will be some nomination threads opened up soon, so I will explain how nominations will go.  There will be a nomination thread made for each award.  Everybody is free to nominate whoever they want for each award.  Depending on how many nominations we get, we'll either take the first 5 people for each award, or take the top 5 people for each award.

If there are any questions about anything at all, please feel free to ask any of us mods, or just post questions in here.

Just as a note, it's not going to make a difference how many times a person is nominated, he'll only be listed once. So it's pretty pointless to be nominating the same person for the same award multiple times. Just puttin' that out there.

This is just a heads up that tonight at midnight Eastern Time I will be closing down nominations, and opening up the voting.  (Tonight at midnight mean when it becomes Tuesday the 24th).

Alrighty folks, now is the time to VOTE!  I've added polls to each of the nomination threads, but turned off posting abilties.  We'll run this vote for a week, maybe two.  Get out there and voice your opinion!

All votes should be setup so that no results can be seen after you vote.  This is so we can keep them secret, and announce all winners at the 1st Annual BHZ Awards Presentation Ceremony (thanks to Depressio for helping me come up with that idea).

I got a few nominations! What about the pirates V.S. ninjas thread? Why isn't that in the most random thread?

Because it didn't get nominated enough times. And it wasn't that random. I mean, find me one big forum without a Pirates vs Ninjas thread. They're pretty popular.
