Ok, guys and gals, this is the nomination thread for the Coolest Forum Section in 2005.
What forum section did you think was the BEST one in 2005? For this award, you will nominate the specific SECTION, such as "Thing In A Bag", for example. Let's try to keep it limited to no more than three nominations per person for this award. So, let's see what you guys think!

I nominate SOAA and SCAA, even though the Pit will probably win this one.

Action Cool News and/or secrets.
BHZ is called a "H*R Fan-Forum". Really, we would not have gotten this far if we hadn't had a unique element. I would guess that a very small percentage of the people here got here just by word of mouth. More likely, they came through the BHZ main page, and probably because they wanted to see more Strong Bad Email Secrets. Therefore, the Action Cool News and Secrets section are, in my very own opinion, the foundation we sit upon today, and therefore, the coolest sections.

According to my stats in my profile, it seems Videro Games, Super Fun Games-n-Such, and Fighting Growlbacks Bottomless Spirit Pit come out on top...

Although the creation of the off topic areas have caused a drastic decline in activity, for a large part of 2005 Thing In A Bag was a hoppin' place to be. There's nomination 1.
Super Fun Games, gets nomination 2, it might not always have a real active game, but when it gets a good one, it's good.
Finally, I'm going to go with So Cool An Animation, seeing some of the work you guys do is just awesome.

Hmm.
Bottomless Spirit Pit gets my vote, although not necessarily for the CGN thread. With the introduction of some great threads like the Religion thread, the Politics thread, and other such threads where we can discuss some "serious" issues, it's been great for me personally because it allows me to share more of who I am and what I believe in. Plus, especially for those that have debated with me in the religion thread, you've really helped me think! You've really helped me think clearly about what I really believe in, and why. You awoke the logic and debate part of my brain that had been long dormant, or never active before. So, for that, Spirit Pit gets my nomination.

Bottomless Spirit Pit gets the first nomination, for it's wild and crazy dibate threads, and open discussion for all.
Coming up in the number two spot is Smells Like... E-mail! for obvious reasons, although the recent decline in activity there is disconcerting.
And lastly, coming in at number three is Secrets, for keeping the community informed on the important easter eggs hidden in every deliscious Strong Bad E-mail.
