Can I change my nomination (or does it matter?) Because those are some very good points...
Each person is allowed 3 nominations for each award, and it's not that big of a deal anyways, so, yeah, I don't think that'd be a problem.

B's right on target... go ahead and make multiple nominations, three is just a general rule, if you've got 4 real good ones... I guess we can let that slide.

Definitely the day Edge came back, with that reformation speech that Patrick/Edge wrote and all.
Why?
Without a doubt, it had the biggest impact on the forum. You can't say that the revealing of Ran led to YD resigning, the changing of rules (the minimum of three words in a post rule is no more now, for example) and the creation of an off-topic section.
I was thinking along baisically the same lines. Count me in on this one.

Well I got three two...
The "Revolution": With a new admin (bethskye), two admins leaving, and probably the thread with some of the longest non-story posts ever, this one should get a nomination
The Off-Topic Threads: After the endless begging of some, the off-topic threads were created. It changed the forum from a Homestar-based forum to a forum that enjoys homestar a whole ton. Yet again, another nomination needed
EDIT: Oops! Forgot it was for 2005 only

The Ran 'experiment' was a fun one, from a mod's standpoint, and I think we caught a few of you guys offguard, so that's going to get one of my nominations.
The creation of the off topic section gets nod mumber two.
Finally, The Great Glitch of '05 gets nod number three. Those were some crazy weeks there.

Gosh, those blasted eyes. Those were 48 hours of heck (or however long they were up). Good choice there!

Well, I was MIA for a few months in '05, so the whole "Is the forum dying" and the eyes thing...yeah, no idea what you mean by the eyes. I might have been here for that, I might just have forgotten. And Edge came back and wrote up a paper, and this somehow caused YD to resign? Man, how did I miss that? Somebody wanna PM me, telling me about this? I missed some important info!
As for what I can recall:
Revelation of Ran: Definitely deserves a nod. Ran was at times (actually all the time I think) a wee bit odd, but nice enough. The fact that he was actually all of the mods made for a great laugh.
The Forum Glitch, or The Great Forum Glitch of 2005: This one has to be one of the top ones. Forum's had glitches before, but I think that this is the biggest one it's had (that I've been here for at least).

Here is where you cool cats can nominate what you think was the Biggest Forum Moment in 2005, it can be anything that happened in 2005!
Uhhh...I'm pretty sure those didn't happen in the '05.

"The Glitch." Need I say more?
Yes, the glitch gets my second nomination. Started a whole plotline in Not-Really-Popular E-mail Thread. Not to mention all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mine would have to be:
The Glitch: At first, I didn't know what the crap was going on, until, yeah...
Ran: HOLY CRAP. I remember this day. A ton of people were owned that day, but I miss Ran.... at first, hated him, but.... now I wish he was real.....
