I, being a writter myself, have written stories that are not Homestar related and would like to share them with this forum. But, alas, there is no writer's section for non-homestar stories... Admids and mods, what do you think?

Usually I just link to the stories I've written on other websites in my signature or in a thread somewhere, like I've currently got now. I wouldn't totally be against a section like this, but I really see no reason we'd need one.

I wouldn't necessarily be against this, but then people would want one for flash, and for drawings, and games...
So, to avoid this problem, if something like this were to be agreed upon, I'd suggest a "non-Homestar works" board, where people could post their drawings, stories, and flashes. The games would probably be too hectic, so I don't think having an OT games board would be a good idea.
Basically, I agree with Teatime: "I wouldn't totally be against a section like this, but I really see no reason we'd need one."

I am a writer as well, and I agree with PH. I think it'd be a lot easier on people who like to write other stories. But DB has a good idea. A non- h*r section would be the best way to go.

I think that if people wanted to share their non-H*R writings and such so badly, they could just get a sheezyart or deviantart page and list it as the website in their profile and say something about it in their sig. If people want to see what's there they'll visit it.
There's no reason to have a misc. art/writings forum. There are allready enough off-topic sections and the H*R sections aren't getting as much attention as they used to. There are allready more than enough off-topic sections, and making a seperate board for non-H*R artwork and writings would most likely draw even more attention away from them. Besides, if people want to share their stories on another site, they can just plug them somewhere.
