This is a very good book by Rodman Philbrick, but very sad.

It has amazing characters and they are very detailed.

It will keep you reading until the very depressing conclusion.

I loved this book when I read it like, 3 years back. Haven't read the sequel yet. However, I really liked "The Last Book In the Universe" by the same author and although they were very different, they mix together in my mind, so I don't remember this one except there was the big guy named Max, and the small genuis-dude named Kevin, and 2 criminal guys that one was Max's dad, and the other was some other lady, and that at the end...

THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME ABOUT THE TITLE OF THIS NOVEL.

No, seriously. I read this back in sixth grade. Stellar young adult book. I whole-heartedly suggest it to any middle-school aged kid looking for a good read.

I got to read just a few chapters of it...

It was pretty good.

Wish I had gotten to finish it, though.
