Alright everybody, come on in. After a long and frustrating wait, Member Survivor is about to begin. I would like to thank the twelve of you for signing up for the game, and I hope that you will have a blast. Now, some information. Challenges are EVERY NIGHT FROM 8:00 PM EST UNTIL 9:00 PM EST. If your team loses the immunity challenge, YOUR VOTES ARE DUE BY 10:00 PM EST. IMPORTANT -> If you know for a fact that you will be unable to play the game for a certain night, PM ME!. Even if you have mentioned the stuff to me in your applications, PM ME ANYWAYS. If you are going to be away, you have to let me know, because if you miss voting at a tribal council, you will receive A PENALTY VOTE. If you get three penalty votes, YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY ELIMINATED FROM THE GAME. Even having one penalty vote can be a pain - they act as tiebreakers in the case of a split vote at tribal council. Now, what you've all been waiting for: the tribe divide. I said I would revolutionize this phase in the game, and that is exactly what I intend to do. The Golden Age tribe, who will always wear gold buffs, is made up of the 6 members with the 6 oldest registration dates as listed in their profiles. They are: [Dark] [Super Sonic X] Location: The Thing in a Bag section Supplies: BMW Lighter, 4 bags of Fluffy PuffsThe Silver-Age tribe, who will always wear silver buffs, is made up of the 6 contestants with the 6 newest forum registration dates as listed in their profiles. Following some of the events of the game, this tribe also became the merged tribe. The members of the Silver-Age tribe are: [anakinjmt] [JackisNimble] [Fudley] [Mr. Teatime] [potthole] [stinkoman k] Location: The Pit Supplies: The King of Town's grill -> (can be used both as a heating source and a means of cooking food) With the Final Four revealed, the remaining contestants moved back to Super Fun Games-n-Such as a new tribe. They decided to call themselves Tribe 4TW. [daBurninator] [goombazoid] [scoobysnacks] stixLocation: Super Fun Games-n-Such Supplies: A whole lot of food!PLEASE NOTE: You will find your camp thread in the section indicated above. That's right: we're using bhz-themed locations this time around. That means that if you're a member of the Golden-Age tribe, head over to the used-to-be-cool section Thing in a Bag. If you're in the Silver-Age tribe, you should go to The Pit, since that's apparently where all the cool kids hang out. I’ve heard some members saying that “way back when” there was a lot more talk about H*R.com on this forum. So I figured this would be a good way to demonstrate who has more H*R know-how: the “older” generation of bhz, or those who have joined the board more recently. I guess we are about to find out. IMPORTANT NOTES#1: Survivor is a game where you get betrayed. Plain and simple. No matter how confident you are in an alliance, there will always be that possibility that you will be the one going home. DO NOT react poorly to this. Don’t forget, you guys all signed a form, and I have documented each one of your applications. Please be mature and respectful, as you all have promised to be. I don’t want to have to forward your information to admin. #2: You are to use ONLY THE PROVISIONS GIVEN TO YOU IN THIS POST. You cannot make up any sort of item or anything like that. #3: You CANNOT bring in any "characters" or "friends" from outside to assist you in Survivor. Like, you can't say something like "It's a good friend my friend StrongBadistheMostBest from my email thread came with me." When you play Survivor, you're not "in-character" and none of that stuff will fly in this game. #4: I remind all contestants that this is the main thread, where challenges are posted. Do not use this as a place to communicate. That is done in your camp thread. #5: Member Survivor has evolved to a point where having AIM is very important. While it's not required, it might be worth looking into if you don't already have it. Many board members use it to keep in touch anyways, so it's a good way of staying on the ball in terms of game activities. If you don’t want to download AIM onto your computer, you can try using AIM Express, but you’ll still need to sign up for a screen name. #6: I also remind contestants that you are to remain in your tribe thread. I would prefer that you don’t go snooping around, seeing what the other team is up to. That kind of ruins tribe dynamics and everything like that. The spiffy "Who's Online" feature will let me know if you are looking in a camp thread that you shouldn't be looking at, so please, try and be honorable. #7: Once you are voted out of the game, YOU ARE NO LONGER PERMITTED TO POST IN ANY SORT OF TRIBE THREAD OR MAIN THREAD UNLESS SPECIFICALLY TOLD OTHERWISE. IF THIS POPS UP, ADMIN WILL BE NOTIFIED.#8: This might seem like common sense, but think before you post. Don’t be hurtful for the sake of being hurtful, and ALWAYS REMAIN MINDFUL AND CONSIDERATE of everyone around you. #9: I do not plan on having any sort of "outcast tribe." Once you're out of the game, you're out. If you are a member of the jury, you are a spectactor, not part of the game. #10: SHOW UP! Challenges start at 8:00 PM EST every day unless otherwise mentioned. I have trusted you guys that you'll be here very often. ---- The first immunity challenge will go up Thursday, May 18th, 2006 at 8:00 PM EST. Please, don't miss it. The reason I am posting this thread at 11 on Tuesday is that I want everyone to get a chance to mingle with their tribe mates and get to know one another. This is the time to begin strategizing and such. I repeat, the first challenge is Thursday at 8:00 PM EST. The first challenge is very important in determining the momentum of the game, so please be here to take part in it. Everyone, head on over to your camp threads. Member Survivor Definitive has begun.

Alright everyone. Come on in. Welcome to your first immunity challenge. You all are playing for the all-important immunity stick here. Challenge: The Tribe Member is in Jail ChallengeThis challenge is (obviously) inspired by The Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon. Working together as a tribe, you’re going to have to “spring” one of your tribe members from “the joint.” This is done by obtaining a series of keys necessary. There are FOUR KEYS in total: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Purple. In order to get a key, a tribe member must complete a specific task. Upon completion of the task, you will receive your key. The first tribe to successfully obtain all four keys wins immunity and gets to spring their tribe member. First thing’s first, however: one person from each tribe MUST PM me saying that they are going to be the one “in jail”. If you are “in jail,” you cannot complete any tasks. It still is an important role to play: you cannot win this challenge unless you have someone in jail to save. So unless this person PMs me, you won’t be able to complete the challenge. I will give you guys five minutes to decide amongst yourselves who the tribe member in jail will be. It doesn’t matter who PMs me, I just need a name. The tribe member who is in jail will not compete in the challenge, but will still have a very important part to play. That being said, I will post the “key tasks” section here at 8:05. Be sure to decide upon a tribe member in jail quickly so that you’ll be ready to go in 5 minutes.

Alright, now, onto the “key tasks” for this challenge. Each tribe member can only do ONE so be sure that you have 4 people ready to go who know what they’re doing. This is the first challenge of the game, so you should have plenty of tribe members online.
----
The Key Tasks:
The Red Key:
-Send me a PM containing FIVE different pictures of FIVE HomestarRunner.com characters that are wearing red. You cannot use the same character more than once, even if they’re in a different costume.
The Blue Key
-Send me a PM containing FIVE pictures of the Blue Laser Leader. These five pictures MUST be different from one another. This means that they must either have a different background, or the Blue Laser Leader must have a different facial expression. Regardless, all five pictures should be noticeably different from one another.
The Yellow Key
- Send me a PM correctly identifying which 5 characters I am talking about. I’m just looking for names here, not pictures
Character One: Homestar once referred to him as a “yellow dog.” Character Two: He is sometimes called “Roundy Man.” Character Three: He’s apparently “small and smart and yellow.” Character Four: Homestar, Pom Pom, and Strong Sad once tried to capture this bird. Character Five: He once wore a shirt with a yellow duck on it
The Purple Key
-Send me a PM correctly identifying the toon/short/email that I am referring to
Cartoon One: Strong Bad wears purple boxing gloves Cartoon Two: The Cheat wears purple sunglasses and rides in a cardboard box with Strong Bad. Cartoon Three: Strong Bad wears a purple suit as part of a costume. Cartoon Four: A young Cheerleader says she can “count to purple backwards” Cartoon Five: Strong Bad says that people often ask him to “wear a purple thing and dance around.”
----
Once I have received all four tasks from one tribe, I will post here and announce which tribe was able to spring their tribe member first.
Keep two things in mind for this challenge: #1) You must have had someone PM me saying that they will be the person who is in jail for this challenge #2) Each tribe member can only do ONE task, so be sure you have at least four people working on getting those keys.
The first team to successfully complete all four tasks springs their tribe member from jail and wins immunity. For the losing tribe, tribal council with me over in their camp thread.
Member Survivor: Definitive has officially begun. Survivors ready? GO!

anakinjmt comes back with the Purple Key for Silver-Age! Silver-Age wins immunity!
Great effort to both tribes, that was definitely close. You all worked very hard and should be proud of your efforts.
Good work guys. anakinjmt, Jack, stix, daBurninator, stinkoman k, and goombazoid are officially safe from the vote until tomorrow.
Now time to get to tonight's twist.
The losing tribe’s jailed member must remain in jail until TOMORROW’S IMMUNITY challenge. However, since that person will be in jail, they will not be going to tribal council, and thereby cannot vote for anyone or have anyone vote for them. Silver-Age, you guys will be taking Mr. Teatime, Golden-Age's jailed member, back to your camp. Teatime will rejoin his tribe before the next immunity challenge, but until then, he is a prisoner of Silver-Age.
potthole, Fudley, Super Sonic X, scooby, and Dark, I will see you guys in your camp thread for your first visit to tribal council.

Hey tribes, come on in. It’s time for tonight’s challenge.
First thing's first. Teatime is officially released from jail. He will now rejoin Golden-Age.
Challenge: I’d Play the Demo
Sweet Cuppin Cakes is pretty hilarious, right? I mean, you’ve got a worm, a helicopter cow, and…Strong Bad with a keyboard instead of a head. This wackiness is the basis for tonight’s challenge.
Here’s how it’s going to work: below, you will find 5 Homestar Runner characters, as well as 5 different musical instruments from H*R.com. Your job is to mix and match characters and instruments to create new Sweet Cuppin’ Cakes characters. This is done by, in Sweet Cuppin’ Cakes fashion, replacing the head of the character with the one of the instruments below
Characters:
Homestar Strong Sad Pom Pom The King of Town Homsar
Instruments:
The Cheatar The Kissyboots Drums (TGS Issue 8) The Hornblower’s Horn (King of Town DVD) The Homestar Runner’s Washboard (20X6 vs. 1936) Space Gary’s Guitar (sbemail best thing)
All in all, you can make a total of 25 different pictures here by mixing and matching different characters and instruments. HOWEVER, each tribe member can only submit a maximum of 10 pictures, so be sure that you have at least three people working for your team on this one. The quickest way to get this challenge done would be to have 5 people doing 5 pictures each, but that all depends on how active your tribe is. Certain tribe members might find themselves taking on additional weight for this challenge.
The first tribe to send in all 25 possible pictures wins immunity. If neither team can get to 25, then the team with the most points is the winner. In the event of a tie, the team who sent in their PM first wins immunity.
As is the Survivor rule, DO NOT make your pictures look unnecessarily nice. You are trying to get your stuff in to me as soon as possible, so be sure to get the pictures done as quickly as possible
Be sure that you keep in mind that each tribe member can only do A MAXIMUM OF 10 PICTURES, so you’re going to want at least 3 different tribe members working hard on this challenge.
Get to it everyone. Survivors ready? Go!

EDIT 2: Fudley puts Golden-Age on the board with a few pictures, but stix comes right back with 5 more pictures for Silver-Age.
EDIT 3: Goombazoid brings in the Pom Pom pictures for Silver-Age. Silver-Age with a big lead now.

Alright everyone. There are two things to get to tonight.
First thing's first. The twist. While this twist affects all of you individually, I need to talk to three of you in particular. Those three are Fudley, stinkoman k, and stix.
Why you three? Well, you are the only three who will not be switching tribes tonight. The other seven of you, drop your buffs and pick up the colour of the opposing team.
Previously, you guys were grouped according to the dates you joined the forum. Now comes the second method of grouping. You are now in tribes based on your forum name, meaning you are grouped alphabetically
The New Golden-Age tribe:
anakin daBurninator Fudley goombazoid Jack
The New Silver-Age tribe:
Mr. Teatime potthole scoobysnacks stinkoman k stix
If you guys thought this was a merge, you were pretty much off. The game has taken another turn. You are all going to need to work together to stay in the game.
Now, onto the challenge itself.
Challenge: Match Game Point
Here’s how tonight’s challenge is going to work. Below, you will find a series of H*R.com games that you’ll be working with tonight. Each game requires two scores: one “high score” and one “gimmick score.” The high score speaks for itself: you must get a score higher than whatever number I give. The gimmick score, on the other hand, requires you to get a certain score for each game. This might turn out to be harder than the actual high score for some of the games.
You can divide up the gimmick scores and high scores any way you want. HOWEVER, one tribe member CAN ONLY DO ONE SCORE PER GAME. That means that if Tribe Member A does the High Score for Game 1, s/he cannot also do the gimmick score for that same game. So be sure to divide up the workload among your new tribe mates.
I will give you guys 5 minutes to get to absorb this twist and get to know your new tribe mates. I will post the games at 8:05
Also, note that I won't be able to get on AIM tonight, but since this challenge is pretty self-explanitory, that shouldn't be a problem.

Alright everyone. I hope you’re all ready to get going. Here come the games.
#1: Strong Bad’s Rhino Feeder High Score of: More than 001100 Gimmick Score of: Under 000100 (Must show the “You Lose” screen)
#2: Malloween High Score of: More than 11000 Gimmick Score of: 500 (Must show the “Game Over” screen)
#3: Population Tire High Score of: More than 70 Gimmick Score of: 9 (Should be the “high score”)
#4: Strong Bad’s Treat Snatcha (Go to “House That Gave Sucky Treats” and play the game during the loading screen) High Score: More than 1200 Gimmick Score: 350
#5: Egg Throwing Game (Go to “Homestarloween Party” and play the game during the loading screen) High Score: More than 800 Gimmick Score: 350
Remember, one person can do a maximum of ONE score per game, so keep that in mind.
The games are now up. Only one tribe will take home immunity tonight.

That was one of the closest challenge I've seen in a long time. It came down to the wire, guys.
Immunity goes to...
Golden-Age!
Congratulations Golden-Age. Nice work. dB, anakin, goomba, and Jack are once again safe from tribal council, but for Fudley, this is the first time he is safe from Tribal Council in this game.
Teatime, potthole, scooby, you guys are heading back to Tribal, but this time as members of the Silver-Age tribe. For stinkoman k and stix, this is the first time you will be going there. I will meet you guys in your tribe thread.
A great effort all around. Once again, it just came down to the timing.
If you are switching tribes, head over to your new camp threads at once.
I will see you guys at the next immunity challenge.

Well everybody, come on in.
You started out this game as two tribes. Now, two will become one.
The nine of you have officially made it to the merge.
From now on, you will be competing individually. Also, you will be going to tribal council EVERY NIGHT, which means that if you know you’re not going to be around for an evening, SEND ME A PM WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
#1: The name of who you intend to vote for that evening #2: A backup vote, in case the person you originally voted for wins immunity
Just because you guys made it to the merger doesn’t mean that you won’t receive a penalty vote if you don’t send me a PM with your vote. Remember, you are automatically voted out if you receive three penalty votes.
Now, onto the challenge: This is for individual immunity, meaning that only one person will be safe from the vote tonight.
Challenge: Where’s That From Again?
For tonight’s challenge, you’re going to need to look at some of the Main Pages on H*R.com. As you know, if you hover your mouse over the various buttons, some funny stuff happens. You’re going to need to recall which funny stuff applies to what button.
Example 1: An astronaut helmet to appear on Homestar’s head. Answer: Toons
However, you will also be asked questions from the opposite perspective.
Example 2: Describe what happens when you hover your mouse over “Characters” on Main Page 1. Answer: Nebulon hops by.
For the questions in Example 2, don’t go into too much detail. Just give me enough information so that it makes sense. ALSO, you do not need to tell me that Homestar says “Toons” or whatever, that is implied. Remember, this challenge is still speed based, so keep that in mind.
Below you will find 20 questions corresponding to 20 different Main Pages. The first person to correctly answer all 20 will win immunity, and will be automatically safe from the vote tonight.
1) Main Page 16:
The background changes to night.
2) Main Page 23:
The Cheat falls from the sky and then walks off.
3) Main Page 12:
A purple firework goes off in the sky.
4) Main Page 13:
A pixelated Strong Bad jumps out and moves his arms around.
5) Main Page 4:
Homestar picks up a Strong Bad-inspired bowling ball.
6) Main Page 5:
A burger flips around on a grill.
7) Main Page 3:
Homestar sports sunglasses.
8) Main Page 11:
The building lights in the background form a star.
9) Main Page 18:
The wheelchair shows up and yells about how he's going to blast Eh! Steve.
10) Main Page 7:
The Goblin pops up behind Pom Pom's tombstone
11) Main Page 20:
What happens when you hover over "Toons?"
12) Main Page 9:
What happens when you hover over "Games?"
13) Main Page 10:
What happens when you hover over "Characters?"
14) Main Page 14:
What happens when you hover over "Downloads?"
15) Main Page 17:
What happens when you hover over "Store?"
16) Main Page 21:
What happens when you hover over "Email?"
17) Main Page 2:
What happens when you hover over over "Toons?"
18) Main Page 8:
What happens when you hover over "Email?"
19) Main Page 19:
What happens when you hover over "Store?" (NOTE: Please describe both what Homestar says and what changes in the background)
20) Main Page 22:
What happens when you over over "Toons?"
So there’s the challenge guys. Give it your all: you’re playing for yourself tonight.
Now, you might notice that I have not assigned you a camp yet. Nor did I ask you to drop your buffs.
You are still competing for individual immunity tonight, but that does not mean there can’t be a twist.
This is also a reward challenge. Here’s how it’s going to work.
The camp that you will all be living at for the remainder of the game will be decided by the winner of tonight’s challenge. If the member who wins is from Golden-Age, you are heading to Thing in a Bag. If a Silver-Age member wins, you’re going to be living in the Pit. Not only that, the tribe of the winner of tonight’s immunity determines the identity of the merged tribe. That means that if a Golden-Age member wins, the merged tribe will be the Golden-Age tribe, and all the members of the Silver-Age tribe must drop their buffs and pick up gold ones. Same goes for if a Silver-Age members wins tonight.
This is the last night of team competition, and this challenge will help determine which tribe has the bragging rights of “best tribe of Member Survivor: Definitive.” Keep in mind, however, that only one person will walk away with individual immunity, and only that person will be safe from the vote tonight.
For immunity, authority over the identity of the merged tribe, and plain old bragging rights… Survivors ready? Go!

Wow. Another very close challenge. Question 19 was the big one in this challenge, as you needed to provide the full quote. Many of your responses came seconds after one another, but it all came down to who provided the full description of both Homestar's quote and what was going on in the background.
Immunity goes to...
Mr. Teatime!
Congratulations Teatime. You are the first individual immunity winner. You are safe from the vote tonight. The other eight of you are not.
Since Teatime won immunity, and since he is a member of the Silver-Age tribe, you are all members of the Silver-Age tribe. Head over to your new camp at once. I'll meet you there for Tribal Council.
