Music From The Skye (2008)
« Reply #15 on: August 07, 2008, 12:42:37 am »

2008:

Charlieissocoollike Cover
(One of my favorite YouTubers, charlieissocoollike, has an incredibly catchy tune... so I picked up my ukulele, learnt the chords by ears, and sang it loud and sang it proud!)
Xylorimbianotarjodolin (Word by MBD123)
(After my creation of "amazabulonderfistastic" and such conglomerations of words, MBD123 came up with this, and told me to record myself trying to pronounce it and then guess all the words that were in it! I... took it one step forward by making it into a jingle.)
Excigerubiloustatic (Word by BubblegumGuru)
(This was a conglomeration of words I got in a comment by one of my YouTub'ber friends, Katie! So... I made it into a jingle, too.)
Biz-occupied
(Made for a video yet to be put out about portmanteaus!)
Captain BIO Themesong (Parody of Captain Planet)
(After making my read-off video of Captain BIO, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNdlt0NTL5g) I couldn't help but make this song. I'd like to make a video of it, but if I did, my mom says I'd have to take out the last line. ... which I couldn't with a good conscience.)
Hopeless Romantic
(This is a excerpt of a song I wrote for a special someone on Valentine's Day. *cough*myheart'sonetruedesire*cough*.)
Guess What?
(This was made for one of my most epic videos of all-time, YouTAGGED! You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQUEA1uaHMc&feature=user)
Guess What? (Clarinet Part)
(You know, if you want it!)
Guess What? (A Cappella Part)
(If you want it, you know!)
Guess What? (Instrumental Mess Up)
(Whoa, that's a weird contrapuntal harmony right there.)
Clicking Echoes (Guess What? Outtake)
(That's what I get for putting it on Echo.)
Guess What? Instrumentals
(The song with complete instrumentals!)
I've Been TAGGED!
(Made for another part inside the YouTAGGED! video!)
Do You Like That Song? (Ad Lib by Rey' and Skye)
(Rey' started saying that over and over again... so we made it into a song, spontaneously. You can watch the video for it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3cNFUvrVR0)
U Can't Touch This Remix
(This is an excerpt from one of my other videos I made someone wanted an MP3 of... so I remastered it a bit! Here's the video it's from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxUBlU3S6M8&feature=user)
Hawai'i Pele'i (Parody of Hawai'i Pono'i)
(During Hawaiian Studies, we were asked to write a song to the tune of Hawai'i Pono'i, our Hawaiian anthem, that talked about the legend of Pele. So... I decided to record it for the day we had to turn it in.)
L-O-V-E A Cappella Cover
(During Speech, we had to do a speech on a topic that interested us... so I made mine on a cappella music, and sang this for the intro of the speech. The song ITSELF was made, however, for... that special someone, again! *grins and looks every which way... awkwardly*)
L-O-V-E A Cappella W/O Vocals
(On the day I sang it during Speech, of course, it didn't have my main vocals over it. Just incase you want to hear it without um', here!)
PWNed Chorus
(PWNed in song!)
Limey Man's Fanfare (Reference to Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series
(A pullstring Limey Man doll would be AMAZING.)
Sanctum (Of The Mutilated Song) (Mutilation of Sanctum for Bonkava)
(One day, during the summer, Bonkava and I had a round of musical mutilation, where he'd send me a song, and I could do whatever I wanted with them. The song is Sanctum by Buckethead.)
Taken For A (Critta) (Mutilation of Wicked Little Critta and Taken for a Ride for Bonkava)
(See previous anecdote. He sent me Wicked Little Critta by They Might Be Giants, and I mixed with Taken for a Ride by Tally Hall!)
Get In Line (At The Capital City) (Mutilation of Get In Line for Bonkava)
(See previous anecdote. He sent me Get In Line by Barenaked Ladies, and I... remixed it so I could sing I'm Just A Bill from Schoolhouse Rock over it!)
I Can Do It Nine Times!
(One day, I was chatting with one'a mah' friends, and she posted English lyrics to a Japanese song from Naruto... and I wondered how ridiculous it'd sound done in an English style of rap.)
Hogkuna Matatatata (Mutilation of Hakuna Matata for Raikalos Quester)
(After hearing the first three mutilations, one of my other friends asked me to do this to Hakuna Matata from The Lion King. It didn't come out quite as good, but there are parts of hilarity in it, anyway! This was mixed with Here Comes The Sun, Close To The Wind, Carry That Weight and Oh! Darling!)
Mozart, I Hath Failed Thee
(A pretty "bluh" mutilation of a J-Pop version of a Mozart song for one of my friends, Carolyn. It's combined with Do Ya by Michelle Tumes, Digital Love by Daft Punk, and Walk on By from the David/Bacharach Medley by The Carpenters.)
It's A Pokémon World (Parody of It's A Wonderful World by Morgan/projectluigi, Vocals by My Dad, Other Vocals by Me)
(Back in 2007, my friend Morgan wrote this to use in Pokémon the Abridged Series! I recorded it this year, and plaaan on actually making episodes soon.)
Legends (Excerpt)
(One of my favorite pieces I performed in Band-- ever-- was Legends, by Sandy Feldstein & Larry Clark. -- This section here got me every time-- it's so dog'gone beautiful, so I learned how to play all the parts of it, to pull it off right! If you want to hear a professional recording by a REAL symphonic band, go here: http://www.jwpepper.com/ram/2481931.ram)
Hidden in the Sand (Cover of Tally Hall)
(I loves Tally Hall to a pulp, so for my 42nd video on YouTube, I made a cover of this. If you want to see the video, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bOKb6yciaY&feature=user)
Good Day (Cover of Intro to Song By Tally Hall)
(Once again, I loves Tally Hall! This'll be used in a video... when my external HD comes back.)
Now That I Know That I Did Not I Didn't Know
(A really short 2-part vocal test of a section of The Girl from Back Then by Kings of Convenience.)
1:23:45 6/7/08
(This is for one of my next videos I was 90% complete with before my external HD asploded.)
Graveyard Shindig
(This is for one of my next videos I was 90% complete with before my external HD asploded.)
Giants in the Sky (Sung by Me)
(The music wasn't done by me, but hey, it's me singing! You can see the video this came from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViwLm7RrYfw&feature=user)
Burn! BoBONGO! Burn!
(This is from my latest video, Discover the Crazy-ness, and is a remix of Burn! Bobonga! Burn! from Chrono Trigger! You can watch Discover the Crazy-ness here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVFfoH-uhTA&feature=user)
Mook'a Like A Pa Theme
(This is from my latest video, Discover the Crazy-ness, and is a parody of the song that plays at the beginning of every session of my school's news show. You can watch Discover the Crazy-ness here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVFfoH-uhTA&feature=user)
This Is A Song
(This is from my latest video, Discover the Crazy-ness, and is... yeah... a song. You can watch Discover the Crazy-ness here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVFfoH-uhTA&feature=user)
Discover the Crazy-ness Theme
(This is from my latest video, Discover the Crazy-ness, and its theme tune! You can watch Discover the Crazy-ness here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVFfoH-uhTA&feature=user)
Discover the Crazy-ness Theme Instrumentals
(You can sing over it if you want! You can watch Discover the Crazy-ness here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVFfoH-uhTA&feature=user CUM'MON, do it!)
The Void Without A Start-Up Noise Rough Draft
(Written when my computer broke, and recorded just in time for my external HD to break. *sniffle*)
Overlords Rough Draft
(This is based on a dream I had in the summer of 8th Grade... it was... a REALLY cool dream to say the least, with aliens taking over the world in SOONG. What could be better?)
Squishy Glee
(This is for one of my next videos I was 90% complete with before my external HD asploded.)
Confusing Argumentation
(This is for one of my next videos I was 90% complete with before my external HD asploded.)
Picture Rough Draft (music from Hey Arnold!, lyrics and vocals by me)
(Okay, I'm a huge Hey Arnold! fan, and... one of my favorite pieces of music is the ending credits theme for Parents Day. After the 100th listen one evening in bed, I started thinking up lyrics to it. Basically, it's a song from Helga to Arnold.)
Arnold the Fresh Prince (Revised)
(I couldn't help myself. Ohhh, Will Smith. Uploaded due to the instrumentals being incredibly quiet.)
Apology in 6 Parts
(Why JUST say sorry? Why not say sorry, and then say it in song?!)
To Be Continued
(Recorded for one of my friend's homework assignments!)
The Clouds (Lyrics by Quackers, everything else by me)
(The song was created due to this picture one of mah' best friends took! She said the caption she wrote sounded lame, so I wrote this to it to prove otherwise.)
A Happy Song (Cover of Song by Natalydawn)
(Nataly Dawn is one of my absolute favorite YouTube Musicians, so I made a cover of one of the songs she wrote... and I covered it... for my heart's true desire! Grin)
Never Never - The Emo's Guide to "A Doll's House"
(In Honors English, we've just finished reading A Doll's House, and we were asked to form group and teach the class something about A Doll's House. (In any way WE seemed fit.) Part of ours included finding which part was the climax. -- To illustrate it and keep it with the student audience, I took the dialogue from that section, and... besides one word change in the actual text taken, and my little hopeful tangent, made this song with lyrics taken straight from the book. I made it in under 2 and a half hours, even! To understand the situation in the story at the moment, Nora has borrowed money without her husband's consent in the past, and the person whom she borrowed it from is about to turn her in with a letter he wrote. Her husband is about to read it and this dialogue ensues as she rushes to get her things and... go sleep with the fishes.)
The Raptastrophe
(We had this... Rap Battle at school. I competed in the first-- but for the second, I wanted to prepared- so I made an a cappella rap beat to go with it. This was made in around 45 minutes, and so far, the rap battle hasn't happened. One can only hope I get a chance to use it.)
Never Never Instrumentals
(Aru-san asked for the song with all instrumentals. I obliged.)
A Happy Song (Instrumentals)
(All main vocals extracted, for fun!)
Get Up Get Down Get Funky (Revised)
(Just incase the music sounded weird the first time-- I realized I was singing off-key for some parts. I corrected that-- and added some other parts. This is for one of my next videos I was 90% complete with before my external HD asploded.)
Misread
(This is the first verse from one of my favorite Kings of Convenience songs-- with THREE part harmony, instead of two.)
Antigone - Scene 1 (Choragos Musical Intro)
(... What can I say? When I know that a part of a book or play is supposed to be a song-- I have to come up with a melody.)
Frontier Psychiatrist (Cover of The Avalanches' Song)
(This is actually from one of my videos! You can see all of the footage the audio was taken from edited together live here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EGGwFptVIM)
Sunrise's Light Against the Sidewalk
(I LOVE this piece. It snuck up on me while I was playing at church, and had my laptop with me just incase I got an idea for something really awesome to record. To put it short, I did! Grin -- It's supposed to be a visualization of this piece of art I did for Art History: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/legotronn/Flash/yousee.png. Also, I just used it in one of my newest videos, which you can watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiys3CAQTNY)
Sesame Street Symphony (A Cappella)
(When I'm given a chance to use GarageBand during class, I lunge for it.)
Put Your Hand Inside the Puppet Head (Cover of Chorus by TMBG)
(Do it, do it, do it!)
Who Am I? (Cover of the Intro to Simple Plan's Grow Up)
(Actually, I don't care for this song much at all. I just heard the lyrics to the intro and came up with an idea for a good video, so I covered it to my own tastes in music! Here's the incredibly short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZWI4kJu5W4)
Badly Drawn Flash Shorts (A Moment of Baskness) Instrumentation
(One of my awesome animation compadres, aka Gemma and I, decided to do a cartoon based on a conversation we had about The Free Design's cover of Eleanor Rigby. I did all the music and she did all the animation! You can view the final product here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25Q04trQuDE)
Toenails
(This is for an upcoming video... consisting of me clipping my fingernails and toenails... *blinks*...)
Toenails (sans Clarinet)
(Just incase you want all the nail-clipping beat sans the trippy clarinet riffs!)
Half a Week After the Twilight (Parody of Half a Week Before the Winter by Vanessa Carlton)
Half a Week After the Twilight Lyrics
(-- I'm sorry, after a good couple months of putting up with this bunkum rubbish, I had to express my frustration about the Stephenie Meyer novel through hilarious song. All music performed by me... aaand... this'll be a music video on my YouTube shortly!)

Alrighty-tighty-doo! Here's stuff spanning from 2003 to right now!

2003 (or so):

Sometime
(I have no idea when I recorded this from my piano... and I didn't know I could play chords so early on... but it so appears I was able to, then completely forgot until somewhere around 9th Grade!)
The Universe
(Um... I don't remember ever making this piece of music on the piano, but the fact remains I did. Kinda gives you a feeling of ethereality, eh?)
The Court (from Chrono Trigger)
(This was recorded originally straight on my multi-track Casio piano waaay way back. I love Chrono Trigger, so I couldn't help but tried and learn this on the piano.)

2006:

Garageband Test
(This is basically the first thing I ever recorded with Garageband. ... and... -- oh, look-- a full bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream!)

2008:

Mozart, I Hath Failed Thee
(A pretty "bluh" mutilation of a J-Pop version of a Mozart song for one of my friends, Carolyn. It's combined with Do Ya by Michelle Tumes, Digital Love by Daft Punk, and Walk on By from the David/Bacharach Medley by The Carpenters.)
Legends (Excerpt)

Now That I Know That I Did Not I Didn't Know

After switching over to my new/old computer (it broke on me-- but now I have who knows how many more GB!), I found a WHOLE bunch of old music files-- g'rood and purty' bad (which I haven't put up) and purty' good (which I have)! So-- this a little over 40, methinks! Enjoy!

2003-2005:

Use The Power
(This is the second musical thing I ever did when I got Audacity. ... and... this is the first musical thing I did that put up on... here... -- whoa, nostalgia.)
Solo
(I made this while Rockandskateallday/Rocky (if you remember him) and I were busy with the second Stick Man Mail for who-knows-what reason. It's purty' catchy, though, if not a little off!)
Swingin' Holiday Duet
(During 6th Grade, I was busy in our awesome Choir-- and we did this contrapuntal harmony scatting thing in one of our Christmas numbers-- so I tried to do it with Audacity. -- Besides the ending, I did it right!)
Genius at Work Theme
(Before Garageband, I used a lil' lil' something known as MIDI EasyBeat. ... this is the first thing I did with it-- and it's the melody to Genius at Work's themesong!)
Eskimo Bob Theme
(... just the Eskimo Bob theme. ... I wonder what the EB brothers uses for music-- it sounds like one of their instruments.)
YOFYween Opening
(The theme made for the never-truly-made cartoon, SSXMails' YOFYWeen.)
Memory Cards
(Memowy cawds, they'we just like somethin'!
Memowy cawds are just like pumpkins!
Memowy cawds are something stuffed with pumpkins and a laaaamb...

This is the... melody to a random song I wrote up sung by Homestar to annoy SB whilst talking with skinny_blonde_girl.)
Summertime is Here
(The instrumentals to the ending song in my Making Fiends fantoon!)
Intense Chase by the Roadside
(-- veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!)
Skye's the Limit - First Time Here?
(During the redesign of my site-- I wanted to make a First Time Here? Intro-- and this was the instrumentals to be put over it!)
Skye's the Limit Christmas - Carol of the Bells
(I was busy writing a Christmas Special for Skye's the Limit-- never released. I like the bells, though!)
Magician's Theme
(Oooh. You can almost see the magic. -- made for a cartoon never created while my cousin was over!)
BHZ Fantoons Page Instrumentals
(I ought to finish this website!)

2006:

Use The Power #2
(A recreation of Use The Power... though the first one is better.)
RAK Pt. 2 - The Puppet People (1st Attempt)
(There was a part written for the opening of RAK Pt. 2 where Rel tries to stall for time with puppets. It was shot-- but never was finished. This was my first attempt at the song-- but it just didn't fit the happy bouncy mood I wanted. Though it's not too bad!)
RAK Pt. 2 - The Puppet People (2nd Attempt)
(Ah, yes, exactly what I wanted! Shamelessly happy!)
Bloo Toons RPG (Discontinued) Town 8-Bit
(I had way too much fun with the 8-Bit Filter.)
Bloo Toons RPG (Discontinued) Dead 8-Bit
(I had way too much fun with the 8-Bit Filter.)
Bloo Toons RPG (Discontinued) Menu/Save 8-Bit
(I had way too much fun with the 8-Bit Filter.)
Weeklings the Musical (Whole Instrumentals)
(One day, AnimatEd/Kevin L., one of my best buddies in teh' wurld', asked me to make some music for his series! I complied.)
Don't Try This At Home - Gatorade Commercial (First Attempt in Easybeat)
(Kevin wanted me to make music for his Gatorade commercial spoof he was animating! -- So I tried first in Easybeat-- and I don't know why I stopped (I finished up the bass line yesterday.), but it's a good thing I did. After this, I never turned back-- and thus, I've gotten so awesome in Garageband!)
Don't Try This At Home - Gatorade Commercial
(The GarageBand version! *rocks out*)
Don't Try This At Home 2 Score - Mothman, Reward Money, Schizophrenic Exposition, After Him, Schizo (Reprise)
(Music for Don't Try This At Home 2: Mothman!)
Don't Try This At Home 2 Score - Not This Time (w/Voices)
(Alternate music for the ending of the first part of my score. ... Forgot why I changed it!)
Don't Try This At Home 2 Score - Failure, Recuperation, and A Silver Lining
(Music for Don't Try This At Home 2: Mothman! ... are they gone?)
Brittany's Birthday (No Reverb)
(... Just incase the reverb is too much, considering it wasn't originally made in GarageBand, anyway.)
Weeklings 41 - Frantic Music
(This is actually a recreation of some music from EEnE's Hanky Panky Hullabaloo that Kevin wanted me to copy! I did so gladly!)

2007:

Pony Puff Quartet
(... After hearing this in the Decoder Ring episode of Dexter's Lab-- I felt like covering it in 4 part harmony.)
Don't Try This On Halloween - Get It Off (Normal Speed)
(The song sounds better at regular speed, I'd say!)
Don't Try This On Halloween - Butterfly (Just Jazz Beat)
(This took forever to get right!)
Clint 'Spucci Instrumentals
(The WHOLE instrumentals for Clint 'Spucci/Clint Eastwood. Finally found it.)
I Am Me
(One day, one of my friends, Feena, sent me a bunch of music she did-- and this was one of them... without any vocals. I thought it was bizarre, so I started coming up with nonsense words-- asked her for lines from her, and this came out!)
Can't Believe You Won This Game
(... This is a song from my Pre-Alg game I created for school!)
Ulysses S. Grant (Outtake)
(I can't spell, apparently.)
Personages and Pokeballs Ending Theme
(A cappella nuttiness!)

2008:

Biz-occupied
(Made for a video yet to be put out about portmanteaus!)
Guess What? Instrumentals
(The song with complete instrumentals!)
PWNed Chorus
(PWNed in song!)
Never Never Instrumentals
(Aru-san asked for the song with all instrumentals. I obliged.)
Arnold the Fresh Prince (Revised)
(The music was too quiet!)

Okay-- two new songs!

Frontier Psychiatrist (Cover of The Avalanches' Song)
(This is actually from one of my videos! You can see all of the footage the audio was taken from edited together live here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EGGwFptVIM .)

Sunrise's Light Against the Sidewalk
(I LOVE this piece. It snuck up on me while I was playing at church, and had my laptop with me just incase I got an idea for something really awesome to record. To put it short, I did! Grin -- It's supposed to be a visualization of this piece of art I did for Art History: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/legotronn/Flash/yousee.png .)

In class right now-- must go to next class!

Sesame Street Symphony (A Cappella)
(When I'm given a chance to use GarageBand during class, I lunge for it.)

EDITED: High quality version with refurbished sound.

More music for the English assignment... except this time, I did it at home!

Put Your Hand Inside the Puppet Head (Cover of Chorus by TMBG)
(Do it, do it, do it!)

EDIT: Re-mixed so everything can be heard better!

Updated againy-more! The two in italics are finished, but I forgot to upload them to my server. Since I'm at school, I'll upload um' when I get back!

I apologize. That was a good 9 days more than the "when I got home" I'd promised.

Here's all the ones I hadn't put up yet-- and one extra before it becomes a video! Grin
