This movie is the worst. It consists of some horrible characters (Everybody except maybe the Queen) and all of maybe up to zero jokes. Well, funny jokes, anyways. This was an hour and a half of listening to "I'm big and you're small" over and over and over again.  Okay, we get it, being big isn't an excuse to bully. Thanks, can we move on? I had to wake members of my family up because they began snoring too loudly. If you haven't seen this, and youv'e already seen Cars, Pirates of the Carribbean 2 and Monster House, then go see one of those again. You're not missing anything except a headache. I'd keep going, but I need some aspirin.

Note that you can vote for up to five choices in the poll.

It just doesn't appeal to me. Not that I'm against children's animation movies, it's just this one that looks too "childish" and maybe lacking a good plot. But, I'm my nephew would like it.  Tongue

Ice Age 2
The Wild
Over the Hedge
The Ant Bully
Barnyard
Open Season

What do all of these films have in common?

Three things:

#1: They are all computer-animated movies starring relatively big stars (including Ray Romano, William Shatner, Bruce Willis, Nicholas Cage, Courteney Cox, and Martin Lawrence)
#2: The heroes of all of these movies are lovable, marketable animals.
#3: These films have all come out (or will come out) within the course of seven months

Think about it: we have 6 movies in 7 months, all of which are so molded together that they're almost indistinguishable from one another. We have all of this fantastic CGI technology, but every animated movie seems to be about animals. I remember the days where you'd get one or two feature-length animated films a year, and at least then they'd (usually) be different from one another.

You forgot Madagascar and Shark Tale!

Now, I have nothing against movies starring talking animals, but STILL. I mean, Pixar's animal movies have been plain old AWESOME. But, yeez, I don't think they put much effort into these now that they already have sort of a template on how to do them. I hope that next year will be a better year for movies. THIS film has some pretty good looking CGI, however, most of the jokes seem for the most part, unfunny and filled with child potty humor. Funny, I thought the teaser was better, which of the footage, none will appear in the movie.

"OH NO! The Destroyer's out to get me, because I'm an ANT now!"

"Um, excuse me, did you just paint yourself red?"

"NO!"

*a bucket of paint falls onto the floor from behind him*

"... yes..."

Yes, but Madagascar came out in 2005, and Shark Tale came out in 2004. He was talking about in the last 7 months, all those films have come out.

Guys, DO SOMETHING ORIGINAL! You know The Incredibles? Yeah, that was different. Thanks.

I haven't seen The Ant Bully yet, and I probably won't see it in theaters, my dad hated, and I mean HATED Monster House, and said it turned him off to animated films for awhile.

I am getting a bit tired of all these animated kids films about animals....it gets so old...too bad Disney/Pixar films only come once a year...they're the kings of animated movies.

Because people usually end messages with their name.

But he'd have horrible parents if he was named CGI Animation Fans Thomas or CGI Animation Fans Jones or whatnot. Just imagine if my name was Ilikelemondemon Johnson or Gonnaplaylotsofnintendo Games Smith. I'd probably rebel. (I actually like those things, thank god my name isn't going to force me to like certain things, though)
