Extend character limit in Sig and Avatar spaces

I, along with others I'm sure, would love to have an extension on characters you can put in your avatar or signature spaces.

I know, 50 characters seems like a lot to some (And actually I just counted and am surprised myself), but some people have a lot to say, like me. If you've been following, I've been parody-ing The Ballad of the Sneak with The Ballad of BHC in my avatar space. During that time I've had to change things like

If you need a jokester then you know who to call, BHC, BHC
to
If you need a joker then you know who to call, BHC

Doesn't work as much, right? Then when I'm changing my Music of the Week, I have to tone down the description or something to make it fit.

Now, some of you who only have "L" or something in their avatar spaces can't complain, but seeing as there's another line of possible space to use, why not use it? I'm not suggesting an extra 50, but maybe 25 on each.

We apparently don't have any "objections" to over-sized banners (pun oh-so intended), so why not a few more characters in each space?

But I would be all for a little bit more space. Not too much more, though, because I think huge signatures that take up more space than 90% of posts would kind of defeat the purpose of them being called "signatures."

What I really hate are forums where the signature is, for some reason, a minimum of five lines or so. So waht you get is.

I don't really want to change the space available under avatars, because I personally think it could run the risk of getting too crazy.  I, however, have nothing against adding some extra space in signatures.  One slight problem, however.  Earlier today I was poking around, to try to add that extra signature space, and I wasn't able to find it- I'll look some more, but I might have forgotten where exactly in the settings I go to change that.

Ok, I'm an idiot.  I looked right over that setting about six times this afternoon.  I've extended signature lines from 300 characters to 325 characters.  That should give you guys a little bit more space to play with.
