Another Forum Awards

I'd like to see another Forum Awards.  The last one was over a year ago, so we really should do another one.  Please, discuss.

I actually discussed this with Potthole about a month and a half ago, but he said that he is too busy to host one at the present time and I kind of left it at that.

I think that it would be a great idea to have another BHZ awards, considering they were suppose to be annual anyway. But I'm thinking that we should maybe switch around the award categories a bit, as things like "Human Dictionary", "Fastest Fingers", and "Forum Techie" weren't the most popular categories

Not to mention that many categories will keep the same winner. Let's form a council. I sign up as Most High Supreme Executive President. Obviously, I will be management, and you guys can be labor. I need somebody to go look up all the old categories and make a note of those which need to be eliminated!

I would totally win if there was a "Printer Seer" award. I can only PWN one video game: Donkey Kong Country for the SNES, so I wouldn't win Video Game PWNer Award.

I think all the categories that are relatively similar to the former titles, they should stay the same. That means Video Game PWNer (yeah, I agree with you on that one, The Sneak) should remain Forum Fanboy. That way, there is no confusion.

Plus, do we really need 16 awards? I think that is a little overkill, considering you can only have limited space in one's custom title. What would happen if someone won more than one? (say that last bit three times fast).

I also think we should try not to nominate peoples who have previously won that award. Give some other peoples a chance, you know? Peoples could win different awards, just not the same ones.

I'm up for another awards show, since I missed the last one. 

I think the categories ought to be the same, but people who won in that categorie can't be nominated. But they can be nominated for a different categorie, though.

Also, there needs to be a lifetime achievement award each year, kind of like the oscar's.

That, and MAYBE  retired/gone away member honors.

Yes, that makes sense. Because Italy can't participate in the next World Cup because they won last time. And Germany can't participate in the 2010 Olympics because they got the most gold medals in the 2006 Olympics.

Well, the only reason I think we shouldn't nominate after winning is because there hasn't been enough activity for any new "performers" to showcase the "talent" needed to win in a year.  "Quotation Marks!"

But the awards one year after, he/she can be nominated again. Two years ought to be enough time for someone to do something new.

I'd love to see another BHZ Awards, but like Alexis mentioned, my schedule is way too full to allow for me to participate much in a ceremony this year.  It's awesome to see you guys working together on some ideas, though, I hope you're able to work something out!
