Well, while rummaging through our music collection yesterday, I found this CD, and I've gotta say, what a great album. When I'm 64 is mind-blowingly catchy, and A Day In The Life is just... epic.

Well well... maybe it was professor Softcastle McCormick. Wink wink, Harry. Wink wink.

A Day In The Life is just... epic.

+1. That song is and will always be one of my favorite Beatles songs. "Although the news was rather sad... Well, I just had to laugh. I saw the photograph."

Wait, I should probably contribute something to this thread.

Although I only know half the songs on this marvelous album (and you can thank my iPod, the radio, "Yellow Submarine", and um... not the album for that], I like all of them.

My favorite album is Abbey Road, but that was later, after the band had more experience. Not to say that the Beatles were mediocre at the time of this recording, but just saying that nobody's perfect, and the Beatles were still ascending that path.
