Brilliant.
That's probably the best way to describe The Beachles. The Beachles is a mash-up from 2006 of The Beatle's "Sgt Pepper", and The Beach Boy's "Pet Sounds". For the most part, The Beatles provide the instrumentation, and the Beach Boys provide the vocals, but there are many electronic effects and distortions as well. Some of it is very avant-garde, and you may even notice a few tunes from the Mario games. It is a very enjoyable listen, and it has some staying power for me, it doesn't really seem like a novelty. It did however, attract the attention of EMI, who were very unhappy with it. But hey, who cares?
