I read "Boktai" as "Bonkava" and "ZoneoftheEnders" as "Zelos Wilder". I thought someone wanted me. Guess not.

Happy hundredth karma

Hmm, interesting. Well, the first game that comes to mind would be Jade Empire. Not sure if you've played that yet. It's not a SNES RPG, but it is an RPG from Bioware, known of course for KOTOR and Mass Effect.

I could say Ace Attorney, but then, you already know I'd recommend that. Plus, if you haven't played it, you'd feel compelled to start with the beginning (which is the smart thing to do) and then feel forced to buy the rest (which you should, but that feeling of being forced to shouldn't be...um...forced).

Did you ever play Marvel: Ultimate Alliance or X-Men Legends? Those would be worth checking out. I'd stay away from Justice League Heroes though, as I found that quite disappointing in many ways (voice acting -- gimme DCAU voices any day!, story, gameplay, comparisons to awesome said Ultimate Alliance).

Speaking of Marvel and Ultimate, ever give Ultimate Spider-Man a try? That's actually quite fun, and handled much like a comic book. Plus, it's a gorgeous game. If you've ever read comics, especially Ultimate Spider-Man comics or any of the Ultimate series for that matter, you'll like this game, and it does a much better Venom than Spider-Man 3.

I realize some of those would qualify as "casual gaming" but you could get Ultimate Spider-Man pretty cheap at EB Games.

Anyways, I finally would have to recommend, especially as I know you're a 24 fan, 24: The Game. The only frustrating parts are the car driving. Let's just say, for supposedly high speed chases it feels more like your grandma going 25 in a 50, and anybody chasing you is going 40. But the story is really good (from the writers of the show), the voice acting is good (actors from the show!) and overall, it's a good title for 24 fans, especially at the price it's at.

That's all I got. Odds are you'll pass on most of them, but I've never been much of a niche gamer. I prefer to spend money on things that I know I'll like. Heck, only reason I tried Ace Attorney in the first place was because Teatime kept praising the series. Same thing with Psychonauts and AoF.

I played Ace Attorney because you/Teatime/other people spoke highly of it. I liked it, but I'm not sure if I'll follow up on the series.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I'm going to definitely consider the stuff I've seen here.
