Hi. I'm Depressio. I used to host a game called Member Survivor. It was a game that combined that popular reality show with various H*R-based trivia contests. It was popular enough to warrant a whole number of sequels. All in all, there were 12 versions. I tried to get a 13th version together, but that didn't end up happening. But hey, I'm going to try again. I would like to get a game going sometime within the next few weeks. If you are interested in playing, please vote in the poll AND PLEASE POST IN THIS THREAD. Whenever I try this out, people tend to just vote but not comment. Whether you're playing or not, I'm interested in your feedback. Please only vote if you intend to be ACTIVE and are SERIOUS about playing the game. The game is a daily commitment, meaning that there will be challenges/events every day. There might be certain days where this does not apply, and again, I'm interested in anything you guys have to say about this issue as well. Member Survivor initially began as a game purely about Homestarrunner.com, but if this game gets going, that formula will change a bit. I plan to place an emphasis on bhz itself, with some of the challenges focusing on the history and traditions of the board itself. The site will be celebrating its 4th anniversary this August, and I think having member of the board come together to play a game is a great way of honoring this occasion. ---- In case you are wondering what Member Survivor is, check out this post I made, but disregard any of the stuff regarding the signup process, because I will be changing that depending on the reception I receive. You probably won't have to get any peer references or whatever, but the basic ideas are the same. ---- I look forward to hearing from you guys. Are you for serious? Yes, it's legal. The only way it could possibly be illegal is if Depressio made a profit off of the game, or if he had assassins track down and kill each person as they got voted out. |

Which he HASN'T! ... well, then again, never TRULY having been in the game... we can't know for CERTAIN.. *shifty eyes* ... maybe all the losers in the past have been paid a handsome fee to keep it down low that about the assassinators and the fact that they all got out alive. |

Snakewater has constantly told me about how awesome BHZ's member survivor is, and so I'd gladly participate if this idea is actually put into action. However, I am going to be gone the last week in July, so that's one less participant if you start it within that time.
