I'd like to join, but confusion over wether or not this kind of thing is legal (we're basing it on a TV show and a cartoon, basically). If it is legal, I might as well try to join.
This year it is focused more on BHZ than H*R. I don't really see any legal problems, especially because nobody is making any money off of it. |

Can't it just wait more days for people to get guilted into it/sign up? It isn't like we're on a deadline. I'd like to join, but confusion over wether or not this kind of thing is legal (we're basing it on a TV show and a cartoon, basically). If it is legal, I might as well try to join.
I can't think of a way that we would be breaking any laws by playing this. No money is exchanging any kinds of hands, and it's not being used to advertise for BHZ's, so as far as I know, it's pretty much legal, not to mention that nobody from survivor/ homestarrunner.com even cares. |

It's not "pretty much" legal, it is 100% legal. The only lawyer that could possibly think we're doing something wrong is Jack Thompson, and, well, y'know how he gets...
I haven't sent in my form yet, been on vacation with limited internet access. I'll make sure to do it when I'm all done unpacking.

I have 11 people signed up so far. I could technically make a (short) game work with 12 people. So if 1 more person signs up before the end of the evening, the game will be a go.
