Saved By The Bell was never a funny show, despite in a "wow, that's incredibly corny" kind of way. And it's considered a classic because it encapsulates the high school experience for kids living in the 80s/90s. Like The Breakfast Club.
I grew up in the '90's. Wasn't in high school, well, I was a freshman in '99, but yeah. I was in that time period, remember it well, and that show still never has done it for me.
